Book wedding paella catering in Cyprus

How our wedding paella catering works in Cyprus

We can add sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff, so the catering fits the way you want your day to feel. Typical bookings include garden and marquee weddings and big weddings with every diet, serving Spanish desserts, evening paella and table tapas.

London weddings around Cyprus frequently mean a ceremony at a church or register office, then a reception at a hired venue or a family garden. Paella suits either, given a ventilated cooking spot. In London, parking and loading need planning early. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included, each in a separate pan and clearly labelled.

Events we cater in Cyprus

Mixed diets are easy, which matters with a big guest list.

Almost any gathering can work with live paella. In Cyprus, people book us for events such as:

  • Vow renewals and civil ceremonies
  • Food for evening guests
  • Farm and barn venues
  • Marquee and garden weddings

Gilbert's Pit nearby makes a lovely backdrop for photos, and the countryside around Cyprus suits an outdoor reception.

What your quote should include

  • What the price includes, item by item
  • Staff numbers and hours
  • Payment terms and deposit
  • Who provides the crockery

Choosing a paella caterer

Should I cook it myself?

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Send us the running order and speech times
  • Let us know about meals for your band or photographer
  • Give us separate day and evening numbers
  • Choose pan-side or table service

Fresh pans can be cooked for evening guests, normally timed after the first dance.

We can provide crockery and waiting staff.

The process

Your timings come first. If things run behind, we hold the paella at the right stage so it is still served fresh. In Cyprus, midsummer sunset is about 9:20pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, so an evening paella for evening guests is typically served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:50pm.

  1. Share your date, venue, numbers and plans for the day.
  2. We build the menu course by course and send a quote.
  3. We fit our timings around your speeches, photos and venue.
  4. We cook live on the day and serve every course on cue.
  5. We pack down our cooking area, with staff staying as long as agreed.

Preparing for the day

  • Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to cook
  • Plan cover in case of rain

Questions from Cyprus

Could we have live paella in Beckton District Park?

Only with permission from the park’s owner, normally the council. Ask them first, and we will send any information they need.

We’re having a ceremony at St Michael and All Angels Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Live cooking generally happens at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

How much is live paella catering?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually want. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.

Do you cater in Cyprus?

We do. Cyprus is one of the places we cover. Tell us your date and we’ll check availability.

Do you do vegan paella?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, including Greater London. See all areas.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We take our equipment and leave the cooking area tidy. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.

Can you feed our photographer and band?

Just add them to your numbers. Tell us when they’ll eat.

For event organisers in Cyprus

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Why choose live paella in Cyprus?

Buffets can mean food sitting for a while. Paella goes straight from pan to plate when guests are ready. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.

Why choose Love Paella in Cyprus

  • We cover Cyprus and the whole of Greater London
  • Live cooking, not reheated food
  • Separate pans for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests
  • A clear, itemised quote

See Our prices page And The cost guide.

How we price wedding paella catering

Live paella pricing is straightforward once we know the basics:

  • Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
  • Travel, parking and access
  • How many guests are eating
  • Your choice of paellas

Tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are optional extras, so you only pay for what you want.

What we need to know

To speed things up, tell us:

  • The address or venue name
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
  • Your date and when you want to eat
  • What the venue already provides

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. When you are ready, fill in our quote form.

Getting married in Cyprus?

Cyprus is about 2 miles east of Canning Town, in Greater London. From the centre of Cyprus to the outskirts, wedding paella catering works the same way: live cooking, separate pans for every diet and a clear price. We cook in 764 places across Greater London, from the larger towns to small villages. We cook right across the region, from Cyprus to London (about 7 miles away).

If you are marrying at a church near Cyprus, such as St Michael and All Angels Church, a reception in a garden, marquee or hired venue nearby keeps the day flowing: the paella can be cooking while you have photos taken, so the meal is ready when you arrive. Nearby historic houses include Eastbury Manor House (2.3 miles north-east) and Queen's House (3.5 miles south-west). Historic houses and estates often have their own rules on caterers and cooking, so check early if that is your venue.

Where we can cook in Cyprus

Most gardens and venues can host live paella, but there are a few things to check:

  • Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable
  • Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot
  • A cooking spot outside the marquee, not inside it

Cyprus is in London, within the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we’ll say what we think.
