Live paella party catering in Cyprus
Cyprus: your questions answered
Can you cook in Beckton District Park?
Only if the landowner, usually the council, allows it. Check with them, and we’ll provide our paperwork.
Which station should guests use for Cyprus?
The closest is Woolwich station, roughly 1.3 miles away.
Can you supply plates?
We can. Tell us what you need and we’ll include it in the quote.
Do you cook it at the event?
Yes. Every paella is cooked from scratch on site, in front of your guests.
Who clears up?
We pack down our cooking area after service. Clearing guests’ plates and tables can be added with waiting staff.
Can you do gluten-free paella?
A gluten-free pan is no problem. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we take the right care.
Do you provide drinks?
We can make sangria, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.
How soon do we need to book?
The sooner the better. Popular dates book up first, so contact us early.
How our paella party catering works in Cyprus
A paella party works in most gardens, as long as there’s a flat spot clear of fences and branches. Not sure? Send a picture. Typical bookings include street parties and neighbourhood get-togethers and celebrations of life, with vegetable paella, chicken and chorizo paella and churros.
Throwing a party in Cyprus? Live paella keeps you out of the kitchen, and works in gardens, on patios and at hired venues. Tell us about parking permits. You’ll know exactly what’s included before booking: the menu, the staff and any extras.

Why choose live paella in Cyprus?
Unlike a barbecue, paella is ready at once, so nobody waits for the next batch. And there is no host stuck at the grill. The price depends on your guest numbers, the menu and how many courses you choose, plus any staff, crockery and travel. We quote for each event individually.
Why book with us
- No hidden extras in your quote
- Food that becomes part of the entertainment
- Starters and desserts to complete the menu
- Hot food served quickly from the pan
Diets, allergies and planning
Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:
- Plan seats for most guests
- Plan a covered spot for wet weather
- Let the neighbours know
- Keep a clear zone around the cooking area
Kids are fascinated by the huge pans, from a safe distance.
Add bread, salad and lemon.
How the day works
A typical event goes like this: we set up the pans and start the sofrito, the rice cooks in front of your guests, and it’s served hot from the pan at the agreed time. At midsummer, it’s light in Cyprus until about 9:20pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. By late September sunset is around 7:05pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.
- Send us the date, the address, numbers and diets.
- You get a menu suggestion and a clear price.
- On the day we arrive, set up our cooking area and start cooking.
- Your guests watch the paella cook, with tapas first if you’ve chosen them.
- It’s served from the pan, and we clear our area afterwards.
How to prepare
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
- Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
- Tell us where to park and unload

Planning a party in Cyprus
Cyprus is about 2 miles east of Canning Town, in Greater London. For a party in Cyprus, we cater in back gardens, halls with outdoor space, barns, marquees and offices in and around Cyprus. We cover 764 places across Greater London. You can also see our page for London, about 7 miles away.
Parks such as Beckton District Park normally need permission for cooking, so a garden or hired venue is frequently easier. Christenings and naming days often start at a local church such as St Michael and All Angels Church, with a paella lunch at home or in a hall afterwards.
For paella party catering in E6 and E16, we plan around your venue. Streets in the area include Strait Road, Harper Road and Trader Road, and we can cook for a party on any of them. Nearby, we also cater parties in Beckton (1 mile north-east), North Woolwich (1 mile south), Royal Docks (1 mile west), East Ham (1 mile north) and Custom House (1 mile west). Within a short drive, we also cover London (7 miles west), City of Westminster (9 miles west), Marylebone (9 miles west), Kensington (11 miles west), St Pancras (8 miles west) and Shoreditch (6 miles west).
Nearby you will also find Greenwich Castle (3.6 miles south-west) and North Woolwich Old Station Museum (0.7 miles south). Green spaces nearby include Gilbert's Pit.
- Local schools include London Design and Engineering UTC (less than half a mile south-west) and Oasis Academy Silvertown (0.6 miles south)
- Local facilities include East Ham (1.6 miles north)
Where we can cook in Cyprus
We will be honest if a space will not work. What matters most:
- Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot
- Level ground for the pans and burners
- Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable
Cyprus is in London, within the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.
A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles separate pans for each diet.
