Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
What wedding paella catering costs
There is nothing hidden: the quote reflects:
- The length of service
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
- Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
- Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. Even a simple menu can be a feast.

London: your questions answered
What’s the nearest station to London for guests?
London has its own station: Elephant & Castle station.
We’re having a ceremony at St George the Martyr: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Live cooking normally happens at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
Can you liaise with the venue coordinator?
Yes. We are happy to talk to your venue about access, timings and requirements.
What does wedding paella catering cost?
The price depends on numbers, menu, courses, staff and travel. Send us the details for a quote.
Should we have more than one paella?
Two or three covers most guests. Tell us about your guests’ diets and we’ll suggest the mix.
Can you do sangria?
Yes, sangria. For other drinks, we can provide bar staff to serve what you buy.
What areas do you cover?
London and South East England: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight, including London.
How long does the paella take?
We arrive well before serving to set up and start the stock. The rice itself takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.
Why choose wedding paella catering in London?
Couples choose paella because it feels relaxed and generous, and because guests remember it.
Whatever the occasion, live paella can be the centrepiece. We frequently cook for:
- Parties after a register office wedding
- Civil partnerships and vow renewals
- Garden and marquee weddings
- Weddings with a Spanish theme
If you’re marrying at a church near London, such as St George the Martyr or St Mary-at-Hill, a reception in a garden, marquee or hired venue nearby keeps the day flowing: we can be cooking during the photos, so it’s ready as guests arrive.
What your quote should include
- Who provides the crockery
- How bad weather is handled
- Any travel, parking or access charges
- What the price includes, item by item
Catering for every guest
We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:
- Share your running order, including speeches
- Let us know about meals for your band or photographer
- Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
- Ask about your date as soon as you have one
Evening guests can be served from fresh pans later on, timed for after the first dance.
Add sangria, or bar staff to serve your own drinks.
How it works
Serving is fast: we serve straight from the pan, so even a long queue moves. When service is finished, we pack down. For a summer wedding in London, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, which means evening paella is generally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.
- We check availability for your date.
- You choose canapés, tapas, paellas and desserts.
- We confirm the plan with your coordinator.
- The pans cook while guests enjoy the drinks.
- We serve, then pack down.
Preparing for the day
- Name one person we can ask on the day
- Make sure the spot is clear of anything flammable
- Tell us where to park and unload
Get a quote
Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will send a clear, itemised quote.
