Paella catering across E14
A single cooking set-up can feed a crowd, there is very little waste, and the food arrives hot. It’s why live paella suits so many kinds of event. We’re often asked to cater summer garden parties and staff parties and work lunches, serving chicken and chorizo paella, paella Valenciana and seafood paella.
On the day, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, so the timing is planned around your event.
- You share your date, numbers and venue.
- We plan the menu with you, including every diet.
- We arrive in good time to set up.
- The sofrito, stock and rice go in, and guests gather to watch.
- Service is straight from the pan, then we pack down.
What it costs in E14
Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. We’ll send you a quote.

Paella catering in E14: local guide
E14 covers everything from London, Mile End and Bow Common to 0 small villages and hamlets, and live paella works in all of them. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access.
Bow Common: Nearby historic houses include Sutton House (2.4 miles north-west) and Queen's House (2.7 miles south). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on caterers and cooking early. School fairs and fundraisers, for a school such as St Paul's Way Trust School, can book us as a food stall. Evenings in Bow Common stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm; after dark, the cooking and serving areas need good lighting.
Planners, venues and businesses
Venues frequently have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.
If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.
Why live paella works
People book live paella because it is food and entertainment at once. The cooking becomes the centre of the event, and the food is hot and generous.
We can help if you’re planning any of the following:
- Garden parties and summer barbecues
- Milestone birthday parties
- Office lunches and staff parties
- Community events and fairs
The menu, dish by dish
Mixed paella
Paella mixta combines meat and seafood in one pan, and it is often the first pan to empty.
Paella Valenciana
The original paella from Valencia is a countryside dish of chicken and vegetables, rather than seafood. It is a favourite with guests who don’t eat fish.
Live paella or other catering?
A plated meal needs a kitchen, more staff and normally costs more per head. Live paella needs a level, ventilated spot and the venue’s permission to cook, and gives guests something to watch.
What your quote should include
- Whether crockery, cutlery and napkins are included
- Staff numbers and hours
- How dietary needs and allergies are handled
- What the caterer needs from your venue
Prices and what affects them
Every event is priced individually, based on a few main things:
- Whether you need crockery
- Parking and unloading
- Starters, canapés and desserts
- How many staff you need
Tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are optional extras, so you only pay for what you want.
Details that help
For a quote, it helps to have:

- Approximate guest numbers, including children
- Anything your venue supplies
A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. When you’re ready, use our quote form.
