Wedding paella catering for your wedding in Spring Park

A paella wedding makes mixed diets simple: each paella has its own pan, so every guest gets a proper hot main. Typical bookings include marquee and garden weddings and civil partnerships and vow renewals, with a paella wedding breakfast, evening paella and table tapas.

In Spring Park, getting guests from ceremony to reception is part of the plan. Paella can be cooking while they’re on the move, so it’s ready when they arrive. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, each in a separate pan.

For planners, venues and organisers

If you are organising for someone else, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where cooking is allowed, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

DIY paella versus live catering

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

FAQs for Spring Park

What about parking in Spring Park?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. We will work around it.

What’s the nearest station to Spring Park for guests?

West Wickham station, about 0.8 miles north-east of the centre.

Can you cook indoors?

Usually we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, because we use gas burners. We’ll check whether your venue has a suitable space.

Do you cover Spring Park?

We do. Spring Park is one of the places we cover. Tell us your date and we will check availability.

Will there be enough food?

Pans are sized to your numbers and other courses. Let us know about any other food. Our guide to portions explains more.

Can you do sangria?

Sangria, yes. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

We can, if you tell us in advance. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we cook a gluten-free paella separately.

How much is live paella catering?

The price depends on numbers, menu, courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we will send a quote.

Diets, allergies and planning

With a little notice, every diet is easy. Our advice:

  • Collect dietary needs on the RSVP
  • Put us in touch with your venue
  • Tell us how many evening guests to expect
  • Decide whether guests queue at the pans or are served at the tables

Paella can be served at the pans or carried to the tables by staff.

Crockery, cutlery and waiting staff are available.

What wedding paella catering costs

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • Parking and unloading
  • How many courses
  • Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff

Tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are optional extras, so you can choose exactly what you need.

What to tell us

To speed things up, tell us:

  • A picture of the space, if you can
  • Anything your venue supplies
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • The date and time of the event

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. To send your details, use our quote form.

How the day works

From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you’re free to enjoy your wedding. Any tapas or canapés are served first as the rice is cooking. For a summer wedding in Spring Park, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, which means evening paella is normally served in daylight in June and July. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting for the cooking area.

  1. Share your date, venue, numbers and plans for the day.
  2. We build the menu course by course and send a quote.
  3. Timings are agreed with you and the venue, around speeches and photos.
  4. On the day, we set up, cook in front of your guests and serve each course.
  5. We clear our cooking area, and staff stay as agreed.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us where to park and unload
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Let us know the timings for the day

How to get a price

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and you’ll get a menu idea and a price. To get started, send us your details through our quote form.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

Live paella is less formal than a plated meal, but with the right extras it feels just as special. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is often good value, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. We will send you a quote.

Why book with us

  • Every diet catered for, pan by pan
  • Crockery and waiting staff if you need them
