Paella catering in Lake
How our paella catering works in Lake
Paella was made for feeding a crowd: cooked in the open in a big, shallow pan and shared straight from it. That is exactly what we bring to your event in Lake. Typical bookings include office lunches and staff parties and naming days and family parties, serving vegan paella, seafood paella and mixed paella.
Around Lake, events are often in gardens, local halls or nearby venues. If access is tight, we’ll plan around it. We plan the timings around your day, whether that is speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

What’s in the pans
Mixed paella
A mix of chicken and seafood, for guests who want a bit of everything.
Vegetable and vegan paella
A vegetable paella is not an afterthought: peppers, artichokes and beans with saffron, cooked in its own pan.
Planning for every diet
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:
- Plan a meat, a seafood and a vegetable or vegan pan
- Collect dietary needs with your RSVPs
- Tell us what else is being served
- Ensure each pan is labelled
Paella is best eaten as soon as it’s ready, so we serve when guests are ready.
Crockery, cutlery and waiting staff are available if your venue does not provide them.

What else we do in Lake
Should I cook it myself?
You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Why live cooking beats a buffet
With a barbecue, food comes in waves. Paella is cooked as one big dish and served together. Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.
Why choose Love Paella in Lake

Prices and what affects them
The price comes down to a few factors:
- Waiting and bar staff
- Travel, parking and access
- Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
- Timings and hours
Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. Ask us for a quote.
Getting an accurate quote
You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:
- Your date and when you want to eat
- A picture of where we’d cook
- Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers

Questions from Lake
What about events near the coast?
Yes, with a sheltered cooking spot. Sea breezes cool the pan, so a windbreak, building or gazebo helps.
What’s the nearest station to Lake for guests?
Lake has its own station: Lake station.
Can you serve tapas as well?
Yes. Canapés with drinks or tapas for the tables, while the rice is cooking.
How much does paella catering cost in Lake?
The price depends on numbers, menu, courses, staff and travel. Send us the details for a quote.
Can you do sangria?
Sangria, yes. For other drinks, we can provide bar staff to serve what you buy.
Do you provide plates and cutlery?
Yes, if you need them. Tell us what your venue provides and we’ll include the rest in the quote.

What happens on the day
We take care of the food from set-up to service, so you are free to enjoy your event. If you’ve chosen tapas or canapés, they go out first as the rice is cooking. Evenings in Lake stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm; after dark, the cooking and serving areas need good lighting.
- First, tell us about your event.
