How our wedding paella catering works in The Warren

We can add sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff, to suit the style of your day. Typical bookings include spanish-themed and destination-style weddings and farm and barn venues, with table tapas, a paella wedding breakfast and canapé tapas.

Weddings in a place like The Warren often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A giant pan on the lawn fits right in. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

How the day works

Serving is fast: the paella goes straight from the pan to the plate, so large groups are fed quickly. Afterwards we clear our cooking area away. At midsummer, sunset in The Warren is about 9:25pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. You tell us your date, venue, guest numbers and how you picture the day.
  2. Together we plan each course and confirm the price.
  3. Timings are agreed with you and the venue, around speeches and photos.
  4. On the day we set up, cook live and serve each course as planned.
  5. We pack down our cooking area, with staff staying as long as agreed.

How to prepare

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches

Why choose wedding paella catering in The Warren?

It suits outdoor and rustic venues particularly well, where a plated meal can be hard to pull off.

Whatever the occasion, live paella can be the centrepiece. We regularly cater:

  • Wedding receptions after a small ceremony
  • Weddings in a marquee or garden
  • Sharing-style wedding meals
  • Weddings with lots of dietary needs

Put the station on your invitation: The Warren has its own station, Martins Heron station.

What your quote should include

  • Whether crockery, cutlery and napkins are included
  • Payment terms and deposit
  • If the price includes VAT
  • Any travel, parking or access charges

Choosing a paella caterer

Is live paella right for your wedding?

A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen and a large team. Paella needs a level, ventilated spot and permission, and suits a relaxed style. Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Why book with us

  • A clear, itemised quote
  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • Hot food served quickly from the pan

Take a look at Our prices page Or Our guide to catering costs.

Organising for someone else?

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

For big numbers, we plan pans and serving points to keep queues short, so guests are fed quickly. Tell us how long you have for food.

DIY paella versus live catering

Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles separate pans for each diet.

The Warren has its own station: Martins Heron station.

How far is The Warren from London?

Roughly 28 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it as standard.

Dishes our guests love

Canapé tapas

Small bites carried round on boards while guests mingle, ideal for the drinks reception.

Paella wedding breakfast

Two or three paellas, served from the pans or brought to the tables, with bread and salad.

How we price wedding paella catering

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • Whether you need crockery
  • Timings and hours
  • How many guests are eating
  • Travel, parking and access

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the courses, along with staff, extras and travel. Every event gets its own quote.

What we need to know

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • Where the event is
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The courses you’d like

We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, fill in our quote form.
