Why choose live paella in Jennett's Park?

A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen and a large team. Paella needs a level, ventilated spot and permission, and feels more relaxed. Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so the menu you choose affects the price. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Why us?

  • Paella cooked from scratch on site
  • Events in Jennett's Park and across Bracknell Forest
  • Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, each in its own pan
  • Fast service from the pan

Space, weather and the venue

We will agree the cooking spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • A safe distance from anything that could catch
  • Somewhere close to park and unload
  • Good ventilation: outdoors, or an open-sided cover

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and we’ll say what we think.

How far is Jennett's Park from London?

Which station should guests use for Jennett's Park?

Martins Heron station, in Jennett's Park itself.

What about supplier meals?

Of course. Add your suppliers to the final numbers.

What space do you need to cook?

Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, and the venue’s permission for live cooking.

Do you do starters?

Of course. Canapé tapas with the drinks, or table tapas to share, served while the paella cooks.

Can you bring crockery?

We can. Let us know what you have, and we will quote for the rest.

Can you cater the whole day?

Any part of the day, or all of it, from canapés to evening food.

Will there be enough food?

We size the pans for your numbers and the rest of the menu. Tell us what else is being served. Our guide to portions explains more.

DIY paella versus live catering

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

How we price wedding paella catering

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Your choice of paellas
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • How many courses

Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, because it needs no kitchen and fewer staff. Ask us for a quote.

What to tell us

To speed things up, tell us:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A picture of where we’d cook
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts

Each quote is tailored to your event. Tell us your date and guest numbers, and we will check availability at the same time.

Catering for every guest

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Decide whether guests queue at the pans or are served at the tables
  • Introduce us to your venue coordinator
  • Let us know about meals for your band or photographer
  • Collect dietary needs on the RSVP

Evening guests can be served from fresh pans later on, normally timed after the first dance.

Spanish desserts, or your own wedding cake, finish the meal.

Desserts

A sweet finish: Spanish desserts or your own cake.

Paella wedding breakfast

The main event: paellas for every diet, served straight from the pan.

How it works

We get there well before serving, unload, set up the burners and prepare the stock. Your guests are welcome to watch as the paella takes shape. At midsummer, sunset in Jennett's Park is about 9:25pm, so we can time the evening paella around your photos. Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September.

  1. We check availability for your date.
  2. You choose canapés, tapas, paellas and desserts.
  3. We confirm the plan with your coordinator.
  4. Guests watch the paella cook during the reception.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Before we arrive

  • Make sure we can park close by to unload
  • Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
