Tapas catering for The Warren events

Tapas catering in The Warren, cooked live

Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, served while the paella cooks, but they’re great on their own. For launches and office parties and engagement celebrations, we can cook albóndigas, Manchego with membrillo and croquetas for your guests.

Tapas make a party in The Warren easy and sociable. The paella is served straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and service is quick once it’s ready.

For planners, venues and organisers

Events in public spaces, like parks, usually need permission. We’ll provide any information the landowner or council asks for.

If you are booking for a business, tell us how you’d like to handle the booking and payment, and we will explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

DIY paella versus live catering

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. We are happy to give you a quote to compare.

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

The process

Once the rice is in, we do not stir it. That’s how the grains cook evenly and the toasted base, the socarrat, forms. Your guests will smell it before they see it. A summer drinks reception in The Warren has daylight until about 9:25pm at midsummer, perfect for canapés outdoors. In late September, sunset is about 7:05pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:55pm, are better indoors.

  1. Send us the date, venue, numbers and serving style.
  2. You get a suggested selection and a price.
  3. On the day, we set up and prepare the hot tapas there.
  4. We serve canapés with drinks or set table tapas down to share.
  5. Afterwards, our equipment is cleared away.

Preparing for the day

  • Check the venue allows live cooking
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
