Wedding paella catering in London Docklands, cooked live

A paella wedding makes mixed diets simple: every paella is cooked separately, so vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests eat the same kind of meal as everyone else. Typical bookings include big weddings with every diet and marquee and garden weddings, with Spanish desserts, a paella wedding breakfast and table tapas.

London weddings around London Docklands often mean a ceremony at a church or register office, then a reception at a hired venue or a family garden. Live paella works well at both, as long as there is a ventilated spot to cook. In London, parking and loading need planning early. Everything is cooked from scratch at your wedding, not reheated, and served the moment it’s ready.

Catering for every guest

Few dishes handle mixed diets as well as paella, because every paella has its own pan. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Send us the running order and speech times
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Introduce us to your venue coordinator

Guests can queue at the pans, or staff can serve the tables, whichever suits your day.

Sangria and bar staff can be added.

London Docklands questions

Is parking a problem for events in London Docklands?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. We will plan unloading around it.

Can you cook in Sir John McDougall Gardens?

Only if the landowner, typically the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide our paperwork.

Can you cook halal paella?

Yes, on request. Let us know your halal numbers, and it’s cooked separately.

What if our speeches run late?

It happens. We time the rice to the actual running order, so it is ready when you are.

When do you arrive?

It depends on the menu and numbers. We will agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you so the paella is ready when you want it.

How much does wedding paella catering cost in London Docklands?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we’ll send a quote.

Can you do sangria?

Yes, sangria. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

Do you do canapés and evening food too?

Yes. Canapé tapas, table tapas, a paella wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts, or any part of that.

Space, weather and the venue

Before the day, we will agree where we cook. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • The venue’s permission for live cooking
  • Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable
  • A level, firm spot for the burners and pans

As a London location, London Docklands is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking takes planning: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.
