About our wedding paella catering in America Ground

We can do the whole day or just one part: canapés, a tapas starter, a paella wedding breakfast, evening food and dessert. We’re frequently asked to cater big weddings with every diet and receptions after an intimate ceremony, with a paella wedding breakfast, table tapas and canapé tapas.

In America Ground, a local ceremony and a marquee reception is a lovely, personal choice. Paella cooked on the lawn suits that perfectly. Let us know about access for the van. We bring everything we need to cook, and pack down our cooking area when service is finished.

Perfect for your wedding in America Ground

It fills the gap between ceremony and meal: gather round the cooking.

Whatever the occasion, paella can be the star of the food. We regularly cater:

  • Weddings with a Spanish theme
  • Receptions after an intimate ceremony
  • Weddings with mixed diets
  • Civil partnerships and vow renewals

Couples marrying at local churches such as Holy Trinity Church often hold the reception nearby: the paella can be cooking while you have photos taken, so the meal is ready when you arrive.

How to compare caterers

Diets, allergies and planning

We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Ask whether your venue allows outside caterers
  • Let us know about meals for your band or photographer
  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs

After service, we pack down our cooking area; staff you’ve booked stay as agreed.

Add sangria, or bar staff to serve your own drinks.

The process

We work to your timings. If things run behind, we adjust the cooking so it’s still served fresh. In America Ground, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:00pm, so an evening paella for evening guests is generally served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. You tell us your date, venue, guest numbers and how you picture the day.
  2. We plan a menu with you, course by course, and confirm a quote.
  3. We fit our timings around your speeches, photos and venue.
  4. We cook live on the day and serve every course on cue.
  5. We clear our cooking area, and staff stay as agreed.

Before we arrive

  • Have a level space ready for the pans
  • Plan cover in case of rain
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

Organising for someone else?

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

Your questions about wedding paella catering in America Ground

What’s the nearest station to America Ground for guests?

Hastings station, in America Ground itself.

What about events near the coast?

Yes, on request. Let us know your halal numbers, and it is cooked separately.

It can be dressed up or kept relaxed, depending on presentation and service.

How soon do we need to book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it is short notice, it is worth asking.

How long do you need on site?

We arrive well before serving to set up and start the stock. The rice itself takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.

Do you provide plates and cutlery?

Yes, on request. Crockery, cutlery and napkins, or good-quality disposables are available.

Can you serve drinks?

Yes, sangria. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

  • Cooked live in giant pans at your event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options
  • Paella, tapas, canapés and desserts
  • Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff
