About our tapas catering in Grange Park
Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, as a starter while the rice cooks, but they work on their own too. For anniversary parties and cocktail parties, we can cook tortilla española, Manchego with membrillo and Serrano ham.
In Grange Park, tapas suit drinks receptions, evening parties and work events, indoors or out. Tell us about access and parking. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, never made in advance and reheated, and served the moment it’s ready.

Occasions we cook for in Grange Park
They make a perfect starter before paella.
We can help if you’re planning any of the following:
- Table tapas as a starter
- Birthday and anniversary parties
- Evening grazing
- Drinks parties and receptions
Historic buildings near Grange Park often have strict catering rules, so ask early if that’s your venue.
What to look for in a quote
- When final numbers are due
- Travel and parking costs
- How each diet is kept separate
- Whether crockery, cutlery and napkins are included
Should I cook it myself?
Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but there is shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.
A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles separate pans for each diet.
What happens on the day
When the rice goes in, it’s left alone. That’s how the grains cook evenly and the toasted base, the socarrat, forms. Your guests will smell it before they see it. At midsummer, it is light in Grange Park until about 9:20pm, ideal for tapas in the garden. In late September, sunset is about 7:05pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:50pm, are better indoors.
- First, we check availability.
- You choose canapés, table tapas or both.

Planning help
Planning for every diet
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:
- Plan more dishes if tapas are the meal
- Label vegetarian and allergen-free dishes
- Label seafood clearly
- Match tapas with Spanish drinks
Staff carry canapés round and keep boards topped up.
Crockery and serving dishes.
How we price tapas catering
Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:
- Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
- Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
- The length of service
- How many guests are eating
Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.
Details that help
To speed things up, tell us:
- Whether the venue has crockery or staff
- Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
- A picture of where we’d cook
- Any dietary needs and allergies
Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, send us your details through our quote form.
Planning the cooking area
Live paella is cooked over gas burners in large pans, so we need a suitable spot. Here’s what we look for:
- Space to finish hot dishes
- The venue’s agreement to outside caterers
- Unloading access
Grange Park is in London, within the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.
Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Grange Park: your questions answered
We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mary Magdalene: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is normally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.
Can you cook in Enfield Town Park?
Only with permission from the park’s owner, typically the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide our paperwork.
Can you serve tapas as well?
Of course. Canapés with drinks or tapas for the tables, served while the paella cooks.
Who clears up?
We take our equipment and leave the cooking area tidy. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.
Is halal food available?
Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need halal food, and it’s cooked separately.
How long do you need on site?
We get there in good time to set up. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.
What do you need at the venue?
Less than you might think: a level spot clear of fences, hedges and branches, with room for a serving table. If in doubt, send a photo.
Do you cook it at the event?
It is. We arrive with everything we need and cook on the day, then serve straight from the pan.
Planners, venues and businesses
Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about parking, and we’ll tell you honestly whether live paella will work.
Venues frequently have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.
