Paella catering in W14: local guide
From Kensington, Fulham and Holland Park to 0 villages and hamlets, events across W14 range from town-centre venues to gardens and fields, and live paella suits every kind of setting. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access.
Earl's Court: If you’re celebrating after a service at a church like St Cuthbert's, live paella at a garden or venue nearby works well. Thinking of a picnic-style party in Gwendwr Garden? Public parks typically need permission from the council or landowner for cooking, so check first. Evenings in Earl's Court stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm; once it’s dark, we need light to cook and serve by.
Dishes our guests love
Black rice
Black rice looks dramatic and tastes of the sea, and is popular with adventurous guests.
Vegetable and vegan paella
The vegetable pan is a dish in its own right: artichokes, beans, peppers and saffron, cooked in its own pan.
DIY paella versus live catering
Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Who books paella catering?
Few dishes cope with mixed diets like paella, because each version is cooked in its own pan. Everyone gets the same kind of meal.
Whatever you’re celebrating in W14, live paella can be the centrepiece. We often cook for:
- Garden get-togethers
- Company summer parties
- Weddings and evening receptions
- Milestone birthday parties

- Level ground for the pans and burners
- Access for unloading near the cooking spot
W14 questions
Can the paella be cooked in a hall?
Generally we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, since the burners are gas. Some venues have suitable spaces; we will check with you and the venue.
Do you take everything away?
We take our equipment and leave the cooking area tidy. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.
Do you do vegan paella?
Of course. We cook vegetarian and vegan paellas in their own pans.
Is the paella gluten-free?
We can, if you tell us in advance. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we make a separate gluten-free pan.
What if the weather’s bad?
Rain doesn’t stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We’ll talk it through before the day.
Do you provide drinks?
We can make sangria, and provide bar staff to serve drinks you supply.
Can you cater for children?
Of course. A simple chicken paella is typically popular with children. Include children in your numbers.
- Cooked live in giant pans at your event
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options
- Paella, tapas, canapés and desserts
- Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff
