Paella party catering in St Ann's, cooked live

Paella is made for relaxed parties: served from the pan, shared and enjoyed, without any fuss. Whether it’s naming days and christenings and birthday parties, we can cook tapas, churros and chicken and chorizo paella and more.

In St Ann's, a back-garden party is the usual choice, even if the garden is small. A level spot away from fences and trees, plus parking nearby, is all we need. Send a photo of the garden. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

Parties in St Ann's: gardens, venues and local tips

St Ann's is about 2 miles north-west of West Hackney, in Greater London. Give us the address of your party in St Ann's, and we will plan the journey and set-up. St Ann's is one of 764 places in Greater London where we cook. We cook right across the region, from St Ann's to London (6 miles away).

Nearby historic houses include Bruce Castle (1.3 miles north) and Sutton House (2.7 miles south-east). Anywhere in N15, N4 and N16, we can bring paella party catering to you. From Ida Road, Elmar Road and Grove Road or a nearby road, we will bring the pans to you. For parties just outside St Ann's, we cover West Green (1 mile north-west), Seven Sisters (1 mile east), South Tottenham (1 mile east), Harringay (1 mile west) and Tottenham Green (1 mile north-east). Further out, we also cater in London (6 miles south), City of Westminster (5 miles south-west), Marylebone (5 miles south-west), Kensington (8 miles south-west), St Pancras (4 miles south) and Shoreditch (4 miles south).

Tapas

Bravas, tortilla, croquetas and more while the paella cooks.

Churros

Sugary churros with chocolate, a sweet finish.

The process

From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you are free to enjoy your party. Any tapas or canapés are served first as the rice is cooking. At midsummer, it’s light in St Ann's until about 9:20pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. By late September sunset is around 7:05pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

  1. Send us your date, address and numbers.
  2. We suggest paellas and extras and send a quote.

St Ann's has its own station: Seven Sisters station.

We can. Let us know and we will add it to the quote.

What happens if it rains?

We need a covered spot, like a gazebo or open-sided marquee. We will agree a wet-weather plan with you.

What affects the price in St Ann's

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • The number of people
  • Timings and hours

Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What to tell us

You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:

  • Expected numbers
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
  • What the venue already provides
  • Any dietary needs and allergies

It is easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will come back with a clear quote.

Diets, allergies and planning

We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Have cover ready for a shower
  • Collect dietary needs with your invites
  • Ensure most people can sit to eat

Booked staff help serve and clear.

We can bring plates, cutlery and staff.

Where we can cook in St Ann's

Most outdoor spaces and many venues work for live paella, but a few things matter:

  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
  • Space well away from trees, fences and gazebo walls
  • Good ventilation: outdoors, or an open-sided cover

As a London location, St Ann's is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking takes planning: let us know about permits, bays or off-street parking.

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we’ll say what we think.

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

For event organisers in St Ann's

Venues frequently have their own rules about outside caterers: where cooking is allowed, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about parking, and we will let you know if live paella is a good fit.

Is live paella right for your party?

If you want special but not formal, live paella is hard to beat. Travel, parking and access can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before booking.
