Our paella catering in N15
A couple of different pans covers everyone: meat, seafood and vegetarian or vegan paellas. Each is cooked separately. We cook vegan paella, chicken and chorizo paella and mixed paella, and we’re often booked for weddings and evening receptions and big birthdays.
We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day.
- We start with a few details about your event.
- You get a menu and an itemised quote.
- Timings, access and the cooking area are agreed in advance.
- On the day, we set up and cook in front of your guests.
- It is served straight from the pan, and we clear our area afterwards.
What it costs in N15
Larger events generally cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

Catering events across N15
Across N15, we cook in 3 towns and 0 villages and hamlets, so the setting can be anything from Tottenham, Tottenham Green and South Tottenham to a quiet hamlet: a level, ventilated spot and a clear plan.
Tottenham Green: Nearby historic houses include Bruce Castle (0.9 miles north) and Sutton House (2.8 miles south). Historic venues often limit cooking, so ask early if you’re booking one. For a christening or wedding at a church such as Church of Holy Trinity, a paella lunch or reception nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. In Tottenham Green, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. For winter events, when it is dark by about 3:55pm, we need lighting at the cooking spot.
Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
The menu, dish by dish
Seafood paella
Prawns, mussels and squid in a rich fish stock, cooked until the rice is golden. It’s generally the most photographed pan.
Vegetable and vegan paella
Seasonal vegetables on a rich sofrito base make a proper main dish. Vegan versions use plant-based stock.
Why live paella works
It’s ideal for relaxed, sociable occasions, with guests mingling as it cooks before sitting down to eat.
Almost any gathering can work with live paella. People in N15 book us for occasions like:
- Birthday celebrations
- Christenings and family gatherings
- Garden parties and summer barbecues
- Anniversary celebrations
Why live cooking beats a buffet
Vans serve one order at a time. A paella pan serves many portions quickly, so everyone can eat at the same time.
Questions to ask before you book
- How many staff are coming, and for how long
- The venue requirements
- How each diet is kept separate
- What happens if it rains

Questions from N15
Do you do starters?
Of course. Canapés with drinks or tapas for the tables, served while the paella cooks.
What areas do you cover?
London and the South East: Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight.
What do you need at the venue?
Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, plus the venue’s agreement to cooking.
How many different paellas?
Most events have two or three: meat or mixed, seafood, and vegetable or vegan. We will help you decide the split.
Do you clear up afterwards?
We clear our cooking area away when service is finished. Waiting staff can clear tables if you book them.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan paellas are cooked in separate pans, alongside the meat and seafood pans.
Do you cook inside?
Normally we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, since the burners are gas. We’ll check whether your venue has a suitable space.
