Wedding paella catering for Foscot events

Wedding paella catering in Foscot, made fresh on the day

Timing is everything with paella: the rice needs about 20 minutes and is best served immediately. We time it around your speeches and photos. Whether it is informal wedding breakfasts and civil partnerships and vow renewals, we’ll put together a menu of a paella wedding breakfast, table tapas and canapé tapas for your guests.

Rural weddings around Foscot have a magic of their own, and paella cooking in the open air adds to it. Plan for access and a wet-weather cover. Everything is cooked from scratch at your wedding, not reheated, and served the moment it’s ready.

Your questions about wedding paella catering in Foscot

Is Foscot too small for live paella?

No, we cook in small places too. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.

We are having a ceremony at Church of St Leonard: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.

How many different paellas?

Two or three covers most guests. We will recommend a mix based on diets.

Is paella too casual for a wedding?

It can be dressed up or kept relaxed, depending on presentation and service.

Can you do our whole wedding menu?

We can. Canapé tapas, table tapas, a paella wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts, or any part of that.

Can you supply plates?

If you need them, yes. Proper crockery or quality disposables can be added to your booking.

Can you serve tapas as well?

Yes, and it is a popular combination. Tapas go out first, then the paella.

Do you offer tastings?

Mention a tasting in your enquiry, and we’ll explain how it works.

Catering for every guest

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Try these:

  • Book early for summer Saturdays
  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Ask whether your venue allows outside caterers

We generally set up where guests can watch, and it makes a great photo.

Finish with Spanish desserts or your cake.

Dishes our guests love

Table tapas

Sharing tapas breaks the ice before the paella arrives.

Canapé tapas

Canapés keep guests happy between the ceremony and the meal, without spoiling appetites.

Prices and what affects them

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • How many guests are eating
  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood

Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. Ask us for a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • Anything your venue supplies
  • The date and rough timings
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • A picture of where we’d cook

We quote for each event separately, so you only pay for what you need. For a quote, fill in our quote form.

Should I cook it myself?

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but you’ll still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. We take care of all of it.

Is live paella right for your wedding?

A hog roast is popular at weddings, but harder for vegetarian, vegan and halal guests. Separate paella pans cover every diet. Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Why book with us

  • Waiting staff and crockery on request
  • Served hot, straight from the pan
  • No hidden extras in your quote
  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks

Planning the cooking area

Before the day, we’ll agree where we cook. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Space well away from trees, fences and gazebo walls
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo
  • A cooking spot outside the marquee, not inside it

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and we will say what we think before you book.
