Tapas catering in Normandy, cooked live
Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, served while the paella cooks, but they’re great on their own. Whether it is office parties and launches and tapas with a paella main course, we will put together a menu of Manchego with membrillo, albóndigas and tortilla española.
For a country party near Normandy, tapas and sangria set the mood. Everything is cooked from scratch at your event, never made in advance and reheated.
Questions from Normandy
How far is Normandy from London?
Roughly 30 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it as standard.
Which station should guests use for Normandy?
The closest is Wanborough station, roughly 0.7 miles away.
Who clears up?
Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.
Is halal food available?
Yes. Halal paella is cooked with halal chicken and no pork or alcohol, in a separate pan.
How much does tapas catering cost in Normandy?
It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Send us the details for a quote.
What space do you need to cook?
Less than you might think: a flat spot away from anything flammable, with space to serve. Send us a picture if you’re not sure.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Yes, and it’s a popular combination. Tapas go out first, then the paella.
How much paella per person?
We size the pans for your numbers and the rest of the menu. Tell us what else is being served. See how much paella per person.
Organising for someone else?
Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
Why choose live paella in Normandy?
Tapas can be a starter, a reception or the whole meal, which makes them easy to plan around. Live paella pricing depends on the event. A simple paella lunch costs less than a wedding with canapés, three paellas and waiting staff. We itemise everything in your quote.

How it works
The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, which we agree with you beforehand. At midsummer, it is light in Normandy until about 9:20pm, perfect for canapés outdoors. In late September, sunset is about 7:05pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:55pm, are better indoors.

Prices and what affects them
These are the factors that matter most:
- How long we’re needed on site
- How many courses
- Parking and unloading
- Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.
Getting an accurate quote
Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:
- Your date and when you want to eat
- Anything your venue supplies
- The courses you’d like
- Roughly how many adults and children
We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. You can send us your details through our quote form.

Each dish is labelled.
Add a live paella main.
