Tapas catering for Broyle Side events

Tapas catering in Broyle Side, made fresh on the day

Tapas and paella go hand in hand, as a starter while the rice cooks, but they’re great on their own. Popular choices include albóndigas, tortilla española and padrón peppers, and typical bookings are for canapés with welcome drinks and sharing boards for evening guests.

For a country party near Broyle Side, tapas and sangria set the mood. Timings are planned around your event, whether that is speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

Broyle Side questions

Do you cater in the South Downs National Park?

Yes. Some venues there have rules about vehicles, ground and cooking, so check with yours. We will work to whatever the site needs.

Is Broyle Side close to London?

About 42 miles from central London, and we cover it as standard.

Can the paella be cooked in a hall?

Indoors only where ventilation and the venue allow it. Courtyards, doorways and terraces often work.

Do you come to Broyle Side?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Broyle Side is within our area. To check your date, use our quote form.

How far ahead should we book?

As soon as you have a date. Peak dates go quickly, so contact us early.

Do you do vegan paella?

Of course. We cook vegetarian and vegan paellas in their own pans.

Can you bring crockery?

We can. Tell us what your venue provides and we’ll include the rest in the quote.

Can you cook in the rain?

Rain does not stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We’ll talk it through before the day.

Patatas bravas

Always popular.

Tortilla española

Potato omelette cut into bites.

Should I cook it myself?

Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

How it works

On the day, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, so we time everything to your schedule. A summer drinks reception in Broyle Side has daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer, ideal for tapas in the garden. By late September it’s dark around 7:05pm, and in December by about 3:55pm.

  1. We check your date.
  2. You pick the style.
  3. We arrive and set up our station.
  4. We serve the spread.
  5. Afterwards, we clear up.
