Paella party catering in North End, cooked live

A paella party means no cooking for you, and no formal dinner either. We set up in the garden or venue and cook as your guests chat. Popular choices include churros, seafood paella and tapas, and typical bookings are for milestone birthdays and baby celebrations.

Most parties in North End are in back gardens, which in London can be compact. We need a level spot clear of fences and trees, and somewhere to park and unload. A photo of the garden helps. Every pan is cooked in front of your guests, so the food is hot, fresh and part of the occasion.

Planners, venues and businesses

For larger events, we plan the number of pans and serving points around your timings, so everyone eats promptly. Let us know how long the food break is.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Occasions we cook for in North End

It works whatever the occasion, from a first birthday to a ruby wedding.

Whatever the occasion, paella can be the star of the food. We regularly cater:

  • Leaving dos and retirements
  • Street and neighbourhood parties
  • Big family gatherings
  • Engagement and anniversary parties

If your garden is too small, local venues and clubs near North End can be an alternative, as long as there is outdoor space to cook.

About the dishes

Chicken & chorizo paella

Chicken and chorizo is a crowd-pleaser, though it is not traditional in Valencia.

Vegetable paella

A proper vegetable paella, not an afterthought, with peppers, beans and artichokes.

What paella party catering costs

Your quote will be clear and itemised. The main things that affect it are:

  • Timings and hours
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • Your choice of paellas
  • Travel, parking and access

Premium seafood costs more than chicken or vegetables, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.

What to tell us

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what to include:

  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff
  • A picture of the space, if you can
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The venue or postcode

FAQs for North End

What about parking in North End?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. We will work around it.

Can you cook in Gwendwr Garden?

Only if the landowner, normally the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll send any information they need.

How much does paella party catering cost in North End?

The price depends on numbers, menu, courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we will send a quote.

Can you cook in my back garden?

Many gardens work. We need level ground, clearance and access. A photo helps.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

Do you do starters?

Yes, and it’s a popular combination. Tapas first, paella to follow.

Is halal food available?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need halal food, and it’s cooked separately.

Will the neighbours notice?

Less smoke than a barbecue, more smell, and it’s a good smell. Let the neighbours know.

Paella compared with other options

Home-made buffets take ages and sit out for hours. Paella is cooked fresh and served hot. Live paella pricing depends on the event. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. Your quote spells it all out.

Why North End hosts choose us

  • Catering across Greater London, including North End
  • Every diet catered for, pan by pan

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

Space, weather and the venue

Most gardens and venues can host live paella, but there are a few things to check:

  • A quick photo of the spot helps us plan
  • Confirmation that open cooking is allowed
  • Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot

North End is in London, within the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking can be tight: tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly.

The process

When we arrive, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so we time everything to your schedule. For a late-May party in North End, sunset is around 8:55pm; at midsummer it’s about 9:20pm. If the party runs past dark, we will need light where we cook and serve.

  1. Send us the date, the address, numbers and diets.
  2. We suggest a menu and confirm a quote.
  3. We arrive, set up in your garden or venue and start the sofrito.
  4. Your guests watch the paella cook, with tapas first if you’ve chosen them.
  5. We serve from the pan and clear our cooking area away when we’re done.

Before we arrive

  • Have a gazebo or cover ready if rain is likely
  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
