Paella party catering in Heath Park, cooked live

Live paella suits birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and summer parties. The pans become the focal point, and everyone gets a hot, generous plate. On the menu are churros, seafood paella and mixed paella, and we’re regularly asked to cater summer garden parties and family reunions.

In Heath Park, a back-garden party is the usual choice, even if the garden is small. We need a level spot clear of fences and trees, and somewhere to park and unload. Send a picture of the garden. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

What we need at the venue

The right spot keeps things safe and helps the paella cook evenly. We look for:

  • Confirmation that open cooking is allowed
  • A safe distance from anything that could catch
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo

Heath Park is in London, within the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking can be tight: tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway.

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and we will say what we think.

What we offer

  • Chicken & chorizo paella
  • Vegetable paella
  • Churros
  • Mixed paella
  • Seafood paella
  • Tapas
  • Paella Valenciana

FAQs for Heath Park

What about parking in Heath Park?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. We will work around it.

We’re having a ceremony at Saint Alban Church of England: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Live cooking generally happens at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

What areas do you cover?

London and the South East: Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight, including Heath Park.

Is the paella gluten-free?

Yes, on request. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we cook a gluten-free paella separately.

Is halal food available?

Yes, on request. Let us know your halal numbers, and we will cook a separate pan.

Can you cook indoors?

Typically we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, since the burners are gas. We will check whether your venue has a suitable space.

Do you provide plates and cutlery?

Yes, if you need them. Let us know what you have, and we will quote for the rest.

Can you serve drinks?

Sangria, yes. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

Paella compared with other options

Ordering in is easy but forgettable. Live paella gives guests a show. There is no one-size-fits-all price for live paella. A simple paella lunch costs less than a wedding with canapés, three paellas and waiting staff. Your quote spells it all out.

What you get with us

  • We cover Heath Park and the whole of Greater London
  • Drinks service on request
  • Starters and desserts to complete the menu
  • No hidden extras in your quote

About the dishes

Seafood paella

A seafood pan with prawns and mussels, for the fish lovers.

Chicken & chorizo paella

A smoky favourite with children and adults, and a good choice for guests who do not eat seafood.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Ensure most people can sit to eat
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Have bins ready
  • Ensure children stay back from the pans

We keep the cooking area tidy and safe, with a clear space around the burners.

Churros with chocolate are a hit with children and adults.

What happens on the day

The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, and we agree where that is before the day. A summer party in Heath Park stays light until about 9:20pm at midsummer, which gives a garden party a long evening. By late September sunset is around 7:05pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

  1. Send us your date, address and numbers.
  2. We suggest paellas and extras and send a quote.
  3. We set up before guests arrive.
  4. Guests watch the paella cook.
  5. We serve, then clear our area.

Preparing for the day

  • Have a level space ready for the pans
  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot

DIY paella versus live catering

For a small group, cooking yourself can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

  • Cooked live in giant pans at your event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options
  • Paella, tapas, canapés and desserts
  • Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff
