How we price paella catering
There is nothing hidden: the price is based on:

- Guest numbers
- Whether you need crockery
- The length of service
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.
What to tell us
Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:
- The venue or postcode
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
- Anything your venue supplies
- Your date and when you want to eat
A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. When you’re ready, use our quote form.
Step by step
We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, and we agree where that is before the day. In Three Ashes, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 4:00pm, so winter events need lighting where we cook.
- First, you send us your date, venue, numbers and diets.
- You get a suggested menu and an itemised quote.
- On the day, we set up the burners and pans and get the stock going.
- The rice cooks in full view, while tapas or canapés go round.
- We serve it hot from the pan and clear our area when service ends.
Before we arrive
- Get the venue’s permission for cooking
- Choose a level spot for the cooking area
- Make sure the spot is clear of anything flammable

- Plan a meat, a seafood and a vegetable or vegan pan
- Confirm allergies by email
- Tell us what else is being served
- Count adults and children separately
You shouldn’t have to worry about the food on the day. We set up, cook and serve, and keep in touch with you or your venue about timings.

Cooking it yourself? Test your pan and burner first, keep the stock hot, and don’t stir once the rice goes in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.
