Live paella catering in North End

Paella catering for your event in North End

There’s something generous about paella: big pans, bright colours and a crispy base everyone wants a spoonful of. It makes the food an event in itself. Typical bookings include staff parties and work lunches and summer garden parties, serving paella Valenciana, vegetable paella and chicken and chorizo paella.

There may be a hall or club near North End if your garden is small; live paella can work at any of them, given permission and outdoor space. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated, and served the moment it’s ready.

Why choose paella catering in North End?

Live paella is made for outdoor events: cooked outside, served hot and shared.

We’re booked for all kinds of occasions in North End and nearby. Some of the most common are:

  • Festivals, fairs and school events
  • Naming days and family parties
  • Anniversaries and engagement parties
  • Garden parties and summer barbecues

Parks such as Alexandra Park generally need the owner’s permission for cooking, so ask before you plan a party there.

What your quote should include

  • Whether travel is included
  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled
  • How long the team stays
  • How bad weather is handled

Our caterer checklist

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

Live paella or other catering?

Food trucks and street-food vans serve one portion at a time. A paella pan serves many portions quickly, which suits weddings and parties where everyone eats together. Travel, parking and access can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Everything is confirmed in writing.

What you get with us

  • Fast service from the pan
  • Drinks service on request
  • Crockery and waiting staff if you need them
  • Food that becomes part of the entertainment

Your questions about paella catering in North End

Could we have live paella in Alexandra Park?

Only if the landowner, normally the council, allows it. Check with them, and we’ll provide our paperwork.

Can you cater a reception after a service at St. Mark’s?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Live cooking usually happens at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

A gluten-free pan is no problem. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can plan it carefully.

How soon do we need to book?

The sooner the better. Popular dates book up first, so get in touch early.

What happens if it rains?

A covered, ventilated spot keeps us cooking in the rain. We’ll talk it through before the day.

Should we have more than one paella?

Generally two or three, so every guest has a choice. We will recommend a mix based on diets.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

What do you need at the venue?

Not a lot: a flat spot away from anything flammable, with space to serve. Send us a photo if you are not sure.

What happens on the day

We take care of the food from set-up to service, so you’re free to enjoy your event. If you’ve chosen tapas or canapés, they go out first as the rice is cooking. Around midsummer it stays light in North End until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 4:00pm, so winter events need lighting where we cook.

  1. Send us your date, numbers and venue.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We arrive early to set up the burners and pans.
  4. The sofrito, stock and rice go in, and guests gather to watch.
  5. We serve hot from the pan and clear our cooking area.

How to prepare

  • Tell us where to park and unload
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to cook

What’s in the pans

Mixed paella

Paella mixta combines meat and seafood in one pan, and it’s frequently the first pan to empty.

Vegetable and vegan paella

The vegetable pan is a dish in its own right: artichokes, beans, peppers and saffron.

Planners, venues and businesses

Venues frequently have their own rules about outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
