Paella catering near Cheapside
Paella catering for your event in Cheapside
There is something generous about paella: big pans, bright colours and a crispy base everyone wants a spoonful of. It turns a meal into an occasion. For staff parties and work lunches and weddings, from canapés to evening food, we can cook vegan paella, black rice and mixed paella for your guests.
In a small place like Cheapside, events are usually in a garden, a field or a nearby hall. Tell us about narrow lanes or long drives and we will plan for them, and cooking close to where we can park helps. We serve straight from the pan, so every plate is hot, and service is quick once it is ready.

Why choose live paella in Cheapside?
A cold buffet is simple but has no theatre, and the food sits out. Paella is cooked in front of your guests and served hot. Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can be a feast.
What you get with us
- Fast service from the pan
- We cover Cheapside and the whole of Windsor and Maidenhead
- Cooking your guests will gather round to watch
- Tapas, canapés and desserts if you want them
Prices and what affects them
These are the factors that matter most:
- Waiting and bar staff
- Whether you need crockery
- The number of people
- Your choice of paellas
Travel, parking and access can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed before booking.
Details that help
We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what’s useful:
- Diets and allergies you know about
- Which courses you have in mind

Working with your venue
For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.
If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send whatever the landowner or council needs from us.
Step by step
We arrive in good time before you want to eat, set up the cooking area and get the stock going. Guests normally gather round to watch as the paella takes shape. Around midsummer it stays light in Cheapside until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting where we cook.
- You share your date, numbers and venue.
- We plan a menu that covers every diet.
- We arrive early to set up the burners and pans.
- The sofrito, stock and rice go in, and guests gather to watch.
- Service is straight from the pan, then we pack down.
Getting ready for the day
- Choose a level spot for the cooking area
- Arrange parking near the cooking spot
- Leave space around the cooking area

Dietary needs and planning tips
Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:
- Collect dietary needs with your RSVPs
- Request clear labels at the serving table
- Choose two or three paellas so every guest has a choice
- Tell us what else is being served
Paella is best eaten as soon as it’s ready, so we serve when guests are ready.
Tapas or canapés make a good start as the rice cooks.
Space, weather and the venue
If a space is not suitable, we will tell you, and suggest an alternative. What matters most:
- Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
- A level, firm spot for the burners and pans
- Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable
If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we will say what we think before booking.
On the menu in Cheapside
- Black rice (arroz negro)
- Seafood paella
- Chicken & chorizo paella
- Vegan paella
- Vegetable paella
- Paella Valenciana
- Mixed paella

FAQs for Cheapside
Could we have live paella in Silwood Park?
Only if the landowner, normally the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll send any information they need.
How far is Cheapside from London?
Roughly 24 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it as standard.
Do you provide drinks?
We can make sangria, and provide bar staff to serve drinks you supply.
What if the weather’s bad?
Rain does not stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We will talk it through before the day.
Do you offer halal options?
Yes. We use halal chicken and leave out pork and alcohol, in its own pan.
What does paella catering cost?
We quote for each event, based on what you actually want. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.
How much space do you need?
Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, plus the venue’s agreement to cooking.
About the dishes
Vegetable and vegan paella
The vegetable pan is a dish in its own right: artichokes, beans, peppers and saffron, cooked in its own pan.
Paella Valenciana
In Valencia, the recipe is fiercely debated. The classic version is chicken, green beans and butter beans with saffron.
DIY paella versus live catering
Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but you will still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. A caterer handles all of that.
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.
