How our festival paella catering works in Staple

One paella stall covers many diets: separate meat, seafood and vegan pans. That simplifies your food line-up. Whether it is open days and community events and seasonal markets, we can cook chicken and chorizo paella, giant-pan paella and churros and more.

A fête near Staple might be on a field with no mains power; tell us what’s available and we’ll plan around it. Every pan is cooked in front of your guests, so the food is hot, fresh and part of the occasion.

Live paella or other catering?

Not every trader covers vegans. A vegan paella pan sits alongside the others. Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, as there’s no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. Ask us for a quote.

How it works

The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, and we agree where that is before the day. At midsummer, events in Staple stay light until about 9:15pm, so evening trading normally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Send us your event details and pitch information.
  2. We send our menu, needs and paperwork.
  3. We arrive and set up at the agreed time.
  4. We cook in full view and serve all event.
  5. We clear and leave the pitch clean.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want to eat
  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Have a gazebo or cover ready if rain is likely
