Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the cooking.
Not sure whether to cook yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

How the day works
It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up our cooking area, and get on with cooking and serving. Summer events in Hell Corner have daylight until about 9:25pm at midsummer and about 7:10pm by late September, so evening trading usually finishes in daylight in high summer. Winter markets, dark by about 4:00pm, need a well-lit pitch.
- Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
- We confirm what we’ll serve, our pitch needs and any paperwork.
- On the day, we arrive and set up our pitch.
- We cook in front of the crowd and serve from the pan all event.
- We pack down and leave the pitch tidy.

Paella compared with other options
Some traders struggle with vegan and gluten-free options. A vegan paella pan sits alongside the others. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Everything is confirmed in writing.

- Plates, cutlery and glassware
The price depends on your guest numbers, the menu and how many courses you choose, along with staff, extras and travel. We quote for each event individually.
