How we price corporate paella catering

Every event is priced individually, based on a few main things:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • The length of service
  • How many staff you need
  • The paellas you choose

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. We itemise ours.

What to tell us

You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:

  • A picture of the cooking space, if it is a garden or field
  • Your date and when you want to eat
  • The courses you’d like
  • What the venue already provides

We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, use our quote form.

Work events are diverse, and food can easily leave people out. Separate pans mean everyone eats the same kind of meal. On the menu are vegan and vegetarian paella, Spanish desserts and bowl food, and we’re regularly asked to cater open days and launches and client and customer events.

The process

Serving is fast: we serve straight from the pan, so large groups are fed quickly. Afterwards we clear our cooking area away. After-work summer parties in Lions Green have daylight until about 9:15pm in late June and 7:05pm in late September; winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, need lit cooking and serving areas.

  1. We start with your date, venue, headcount, timings and diets.
  2. We send a menu, a price and the paperwork for your venue.
  3. Access, parking and set-up are agreed with you or facilities.
  4. The paella cooks in front of your team and is served at the agreed time.
  5. Afterwards, our area is cleared and left clean.

Before we arrive

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot
  • Leave space around the cooking area

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

Some hosts like to cook themselves. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Catering for every guest

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Get facilities approval early
  • Have water and soft drinks available
  • Ask what the venue requires from caterers
  • Send us totals for each diet and any serious allergies

If timings change on the day, tell us and we will adapt.

Bar staff and sangria on request.

No, we cook in small places too. Let us know about access and parking.

How far is Lions Green from London?

Roughly 41 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

Can you serve tapas as well?

Yes. Canapé tapas with the drinks, or table tapas to share, served while the paella cooks.

Can you feed everyone quickly?

Yes. We plan pans and serving points so service is fast.

How many paellas should we have?

Two or three is usual: a meat or mixed paella, a seafood paella and a vegetable or vegan one. We will suggest a split based on your guests.

Do you come to Lions Green?

We do. We cook at events in Lions Green and across East Sussex. Send us your date to check availability.

Do you cook inside?

Mostly outside or under an open cover, because we use gas burners. Some venues have suitable spaces; we’ll check with you and the venue.

Can you cook halal paella?

Yes. We use halal chicken and leave out pork and alcohol, in its own pan.

What we need at the venue

Safety and good cooking both depend on the spot we use. We need:

  • A level, firm spot for the burners and pans
  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
  • Good ventilation: outdoors, or an open-sided cover

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

For catering that’s part of the event, live paella stands out. Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. Ask us for a quote.
