How our wedding paella catering works in Windsor

Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff can be added, to suit the style of your day. For marquee and garden weddings and parties after a register office wedding, we’ll put together a menu of a paella wedding breakfast, canapé tapas and evening paella for your guests.

A wedding in Windsor might mean a ceremony at a local church followed by a reception in a garden, marquee or hall. That suits live paella perfectly: it can be cooking during the photos. Everything is cooked from scratch at your wedding, never made in advance and reheated, and served as soon as it is ready.

Evening paella

A second round of paella for the evening, served quickly so the party keeps going.

Paella wedding breakfast

The main event: paellas for every diet, served straight from the pan.

How the day works

Your timings come first. If things run behind, we hold the paella at the right stage so it’s still served fresh. In Windsor, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, which means evening paella is generally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan your menu course by course.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. We cook live on the day and serve each course.
  5. We pack down, and staff stay as agreed.

Getting ready for the day

  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to cook
  • Tell us where to park and unload

Planning help

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.

Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but there is shopping, prep and hours of cooking. We take care of all of it.

Occasions we cook for in Windsor

It fills the gap between ceremony and meal: gather round the cooking.

Big or small, live paella works well. Typical bookings include:

  • Relaxed sharing-style wedding breakfasts
  • Receptions after an intimate ceremony
  • Destination-style celebrations at home
  • Weddings in a marquee or garden

If you’re marrying at a church near Windsor, such as All Saints Church, a reception in a garden, marquee or hired venue nearby keeps the day flowing: we can be cooking during the photos, so the meal is ready when you arrive.

What your quote should include

  • Allergen information for each dish
  • If the price includes VAT
  • Payment terms and deposit
  • The venue requirements

Planning for every diet

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:

  • Book early for summer Saturdays
  • Check the venue’s rules for outside caterers
  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Send us the running order and speech times

Paella can be served at the pans or carried to the tables by staff, whichever suits your day.

Spanish desserts, or your own wedding cake, finish the meal.

What affects the price in Windsor

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • Waiting and bar staff
  • The paellas you choose
  • Timings and hours

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the courses, along with staff, extras and travel. Every event gets its own quote.

What we need to know

To speed things up, tell us:

  • The date and time of the event
  • A photo of the space, if you can
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we will check availability at the same time.

Before you choose a spot

The right spot keeps things safe and helps the paella cook evenly. We need:

  • Confirmation that open cooking is allowed
  • Somewhere close to park and unload
  • Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and we will say what we think.
