Wickstreet questions
Do you come out to small places like Wickstreet?
No, we cook in small places too. Let us know about access and parking.
What’s the nearest station to Wickstreet for guests?
The closest is Berwick (Sussex) station, roughly 1.5 miles away.
Should we have more than one paella?
Most events have two or three: meat or mixed, seafood, and vegetable or vegan. We will suggest a split based on your guests.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Yes, and it is a popular combination. Tapas go out first, then the paella.
Can you cook indoors?
Generally we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, since the burners are gas. We will check whether your venue has a suitable space.
Can you provide dessert?
We can add a dessert. Tell us what you have in mind in your enquiry.
Where do you cater?
London and South East England: Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight, including Wickstreet.
Is paella smart enough for a wedding?
With the right presentation, it feels special: canapés, tapas, crockery and table service.
How our wedding paella catering works in Wickstreet
A wedding paella is food and entertainment at once. Guests drift over to watch the pans while the photos are being taken, and the food arrives hot and plentiful. Typical bookings include spanish-themed and destination-style weddings and sharing-style wedding meals, with Spanish desserts, table tapas and a paella wedding breakfast.
Rural weddings around Wickstreet have a magic of their own, and paella cooking in the open air adds to it. Plan for access and a wet-weather cover. We plan the timings around your day, so the paella is ready when you want to eat.

How we price wedding paella catering
There’s nothing hidden: the price is based on:
- Travel, parking and access
- Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
- Plates, cutlery and glassware
- Your choice of paellas
If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we will suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.
What to tell us
When you contact us, it helps to tell us:
- A picture of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field
- Which courses you have in mind
- Diets and allergies you know about
- The date and time of the event
Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, fill in our quote form.

Should I cook it myself?
Some hosts like to cook themselves. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.
Organising for someone else?
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.
