Wedding paella catering in Town Row, cooked live
At a wedding, paella is both the meal and a bit of a show. Guests drift over to watch the pans while the photos are being taken, and the meal arrives hot and generous. Typical bookings include rustic barn weddings and receptions after an intimate ceremony, with evening paella, canapé tapas and Spanish desserts.
Near Town Row, weddings are frequently in fields, barns or gardens. That is exactly where live paella shines: no kitchen, just a level, sheltered spot. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included, with each paella cooked in its own pan.

The process
It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our cooking area, and get on with cooking and serving. At midsummer, sunset in Town Row is about 9:15pm, so we can time the evening paella around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:50pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.
- We start with your date, venue, numbers and ideas.
- We build the menu course by course and send a quote.
- We agree timings with you and your venue, including speeches and photos.
- On the day, we set up, cook in front of your guests and serve each course.
- We clear our cooking area, and staff stay as agreed.

Planning for every diet
With a little notice, every diet is easy. Our advice:
- Collect dietary needs on the RSVP
- Share your running order, including speeches
- Tell us about suppliers who need feeding
- Pick a serving style
Guests can queue at the pans, or staff can serve the tables.
Spanish desserts, or your own wedding cake, finish the meal.
Paella compared with other options
Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Separate paella pans cover every diet. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.
Why Town Row hosts choose us
- Add tapas, canapés and Spanish desserts
- Separate pans for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests
- Fast service from the pan
- Waiting staff and crockery on request

Should I cook it myself?
Hiring a pan and burner is one option, but you’ll still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. A caterer handles all of that.
Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
