Wedding paella catering for your wedding in Temple Hill

Your wedding menu is planned with you, course by course, around your guests, your venue and your budget. For weddings with lots of dietary needs and informal wedding breakfasts, we’ll put together a menu of evening paella, a paella wedding breakfast and table tapas.

For a smaller place like Temple Hill, a garden or farm wedding is frequently the dream. We will need a level spot and a way to reach it. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated, and served the moment it is ready.

Questions from Temple Hill

Which station should guests use for Temple Hill?

Dartford station, in Temple Hill itself.

How far is Temple Hill from London?

Roughly 14 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

Do you come to Temple Hill?

We do. Temple Hill is one of the places we cover. Send us your date to check availability.

Can you cater the whole day?

We can. Canapé tapas, table tapas, a paella wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts, or any part of that.

How soon do we need to book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates book up first, so it pays to ask early.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

Yes, on request. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we make a separate gluten-free pan.

Can we add tapas or canapés?

Yes, and it is a popular combination. Tapas go out first, then the paella.

Do you provide plates and cutlery?

We can. Tell us what your venue provides and we will include the rest in the quote.

Before you choose a spot

Safety and good cooking both depend on the spot we use. We look for:

  • The venue’s permission for live cooking
  • An open-sided catering gazebo next to the marquee
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly.

Popular choices

How we price wedding paella catering

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • The number of people

The cost per head generally falls as numbers rise, because the cooking set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we will quote.

What to tell us

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what to include:

  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff
  • A picture of where we’d cook
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy numbers
  • Expected numbers

DIY paella versus live catering

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

How it works

From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you can enjoy your wedding. Any tapas or canapés are served first while the paella cooks. In Temple Hill, midsummer sunset is about 9:20pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, which means evening paella is normally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:50pm.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan each course.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. We cook live on the day and serve each course.
  5. We clear our area; staff stay as booked.
