Wedding paella catering in Egypt, made fresh on the day

Sangria, bar staff, crockery and waiting staff can be added, to suit the style of your day. We cook table tapas, canapé tapas and Spanish desserts, and we’re frequently booked for weddings with a Spanish theme and civil partnerships and vow renewals.

A wedding in a small place like Egypt frequently means a field, a barn or a family garden. That is exactly where live paella shines: no kitchen, just a level, sheltered spot. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. We bring everything we need to cook, and pack down our cooking area when service is finished.

Is live paella right for your wedding?

Food vans can create long queues. Paella is served quickly to many guests. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed before you book.

Why Egypt hosts choose us

  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
  • Food that becomes part of the entertainment
  • Paella cooked from scratch on site
  • No hidden extras in your quote

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.

Weighing up DIY against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

For event organisers in Egypt

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send whatever the landowner or council needs from us.

Before you choose a spot

We will agree the cooking spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
  • Level ground for the pans and burners
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Catering for every guest

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Include any suppliers you are feeding
  • Connect us with your coordinator

  • Count day and evening guests separately

On the day, we liaise with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you don’t have to.

Crockery, cutlery and waiting staff are available.

Common questions in Egypt

Can you cater a reception after a service at St John the Evangelist?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.

Which station should guests use for Egypt?

Burnham station, about 2.9 miles south-west of the centre.

Do you do vegan paella?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

Do you cater in Egypt?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, and Egypt is within our area. To check your date, use our quote form.

Will you talk to our venue?

Yes, it makes life easier. Put us in touch and we will agree the details.

What happens if it rains?

Rain doesn’t stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We will make a plan B with you.

Can you feed our photographer and band?

Of course. Include suppliers in your numbers.

Can we try the food first?

Tell us you’d like a tasting when you enquire, and we’ll talk you through it.

How we price wedding paella catering

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • The length of service
  • Whether you need crockery
  • Staff: cooks, waiting staff and bar staff
  • Distance and access to the venue

Live paella frequently compares well with a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. We’ll send you a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

To speed things up, tell us:

  • A photo of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Your date and when you want to eat
  • The courses you’d like
