Live tapas catering in Studdal

Tapas catering for your event in Studdal

Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, as a starter while the rice cooks, but they work on their own too. We cook patatas bravas, Serrano ham and gambas al ajillo, and we’re often booked for welcome-drink canapés and tapas with a paella main course.

In a rural spot like Studdal, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, not reheated, and served as soon as it’s ready.

Paella compared with other options

Tapas are flexible, so they fit most plans. Live paella pricing depends on the event. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. Your quote spells it all out.

Why Studdal hosts choose us

  • Hot food served quickly from the pan
  • A clear, itemised quote
  • Paella cooked from scratch on site

How it works

Watching it cook is half the fun. Onion, garlic, peppers and tomato go in first, then the stock and saffron, then the rice, which cooks without stirring while your guests chat. At midsummer, it is light in Studdal until about 9:15pm, ideal for tapas in the garden. By late September it is dark around 7:00pm, and in December by about 3:50pm.

Diets, allergies and planning

Paella is one of the easiest dishes for mixed diets, because every paella has its own pan. A few tips:

  • Widen the selection for a tapas-only menu
  • Check diets in advance
  • Pair tapas with sangria, cava or sherry
  • Include staff for canapés

Canapés go round with the drinks as guests arrive.

Add a live paella main.

How we price tapas catering

We’ll give you a clear, itemised quote. What affects it most:

  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • The paellas you choose
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • The length of service

Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What we need to know

Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:

  • Anything your venue supplies
  • The date and time of the event
  • Expected numbers
  • Diets and allergies you know about

It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll come back with a clear quote.

Common questions in Studdal

Can you cater a reception after a service at East Studdal Church Hall?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.

Which station should guests use for Studdal?

The closest is Martin Mill station, roughly 2.3 miles away.

How soon do we need to book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates book up first, so it pays to ask early.

Do you do starters?

Yes. Canapé tapas with the drinks, or table tapas to share, while the rice is cooking.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

We can, if you tell us in advance. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we cook a gluten-free paella separately.

Can we add drinks?

Sangria, yes, plus bar staff for your own drinks.

Are your tapas vegetarian-friendly?

Lots. Tortilla, patatas bravas, padrón peppers and Manchego are vegetarian classics.

Which areas do you serve?

We cover London and the South East, including Kent. Find your area.
