Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?
You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there is shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.
Some hosts like to cook themselves. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
Planners, venues and businesses
Throwing a party at home? Send us a picture of the garden and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether live paella will work.
If you are organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

What about events near the coast?

We quote for each event, so you only pay for what you need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a price.
Can you cook in the rain?
Rain does not stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We’ll make a plan B with you.
Is the paella cooked on site?
Yes. We bring the pans, burners and fresh ingredients and cook on the day, serving it hot from the pan.
What about pudding?
Yes, Spanish desserts can be added. Tell us what you have in mind in your enquiry.

How it works
On the day, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so we time everything to your schedule. At midsummer, it is light in Princelett until about 9:20pm, perfect for canapés outdoors. In late September, sunset is about 7:10pm; winter receptions, dark by 4:00pm, are better indoors.
