Tapas catering near Frant

Tapas catering in Frant, cooked live

Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, served while the paella cooks, but they’re great on their own. For drinks reception canapés and sharing boards for evening guests, we’ll put together a menu of tortilla española, Manchego with membrillo and albóndigas for your guests.

In a rural spot like Frant, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. Everything is cooked from scratch at your event, not reheated, and served the moment it is ready.

FAQs for Frant

Can you cook in Eridge Park?

Only if the landowner, usually the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will send any information they need.

Do you cater in the High Weald National Landscape?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We’ll work to whatever the site needs.

What happens if it rains?

A covered, ventilated spot keeps us cooking in the rain. We’ll talk it through before the day.

Are the tapas served hot?

Yes, hot dishes are finished at the venue.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes, sangria. For other drinks, we can provide bar staff to serve what you buy.

Is it really cooked live?

It is. We arrive with everything we need and cook on the day, serving it hot from the pan.

When do you arrive?

We get there in good time to set up. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.

Do you do tapas on their own?

Yes. Tapas can be booked without paella.

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear and itemised. What affects it most:

  • Whether you need crockery
  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • Waiting and bar staff

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.

What we need to know

To speed things up, tell us:

  • The date and rough timings
  • What the venue already provides
  • Which courses you have in mind
  • Roughly how many adults and children

Every quote is put together for your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll confirm whether we’re available that day.

What’s in the pans

Patatas bravas

Always popular and normally vegetarian.

Gambas al ajillo

Prawns sizzled in garlic and olive oil.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but you’ll still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. A caterer handles all of that.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

Crisps and nibbles fill a gap. Tapas are a real course. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the courses, along with staff, extras and travel. Every event gets its own quote.
