Tapas catering in Farthingloe, made fresh on the day

Tapas pair naturally with a live paella, served while the paella cooks, but they’re great on their own. We’re often asked to cater welcome-drink canapés and anniversary parties, serving tortilla española, albóndigas and croquetas.

For a country party near Farthingloe, tapas and sangria set the mood. We cook every pan in full view of your guests, so it arrives hot and becomes part of the event.

Farthingloe questions

How far is Farthingloe from London?

Roughly 65 miles from the centre of London.

Which station should guests use for Farthingloe?

Dover Priory station, about 1.3 miles north-east of the centre.

Can you provide dessert?

Yes. Churros, crema catalana and tarta de Santiago are popular choices, or you can serve your own cake.

How soon do we need to book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it’s short notice, it’s worth asking.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We take our equipment and leave the cooking area tidy. Ask us about table clearing if you need it.

Do you offer halal options?

We can. Tell us how many guests need halal food, and it’s cooked separately.

Is the paella cooked on site?

Yes. We arrive with everything we need and cook it there and then, serving it hot from the pan.

Will there be enough food?

We plan quantities from your guest numbers, timings and other courses, with a sensible margin. Accurate numbers help.

How it works

It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our cooking area, and get on with cooking and serving. A summer drinks reception in Farthingloe has daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer, perfect for canapés outdoors. In late September, sunset is about 7:00pm; winter receptions, dark by 3:50pm, are better indoors.

  1. Tell us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. You get a selection and a price.
  3. We set up and finish hot tapas on site.
  4. Canapés go round or tapas go to the tables.
  5. We pack down when service ends.
