Tapas catering near Curdridge

Tapas catering for your event in Curdridge

For standing receptions, canapés work best; for seated meals, table tapas. Many events have both. Whether it is evening grazing and canapés with welcome drinks, we’ll put together a menu of albóndigas, gambas al ajillo and Manchego with membrillo and more.

In a rural spot like Curdridge, tapas can be served in a garden, barn or marquee. Your quote spells out exactly what’s included: the menu, the staff and any extras, with no surprises on the day.

Paella compared with other options

Standard canapés can feel samey. Spanish tapas bring colour and flavour. Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

Why us?

  • Hot food served quickly from the pan
  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • A clear, itemised quote
  • Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests, each in its own pan

How it works

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. It needs a level spot with some shelter and good ventilation, which we agree with you beforehand. At midsummer, it’s light in Curdridge until about 9:20pm, perfect for canapés outdoors. By late September it’s dark around 7:10pm, and in December by about 4:00pm.

  1. First, we check availability.
  2. You pick the style.
  3. We arrive and set up our station.
  4. We serve the spread.
  5. We clear away at the end.

Getting ready for the day

  • Ensure the spot is clear of anything flammable
  • Get the venue’s permission for cooking
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Your questions about tapas catering in Curdridge

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Peter?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Live cooking generally happens at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

What about events near the coast?

Yes, as long as we can shelter from the wind. Sea breezes cool the pan, so a windbreak, building or gazebo helps.

Do you cater for young children?

Yes, children are easy to cater for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we’ll plan a pan with them in mind.

Do you offer halal options?

We can. Let us know your halal numbers, and we will cook a separate pan.

Who clears up?

We pack down our cooking area after service. Waiting staff can clear tables if you book them.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

Yes, on request. Rice is naturally gluten-free, but stock and some ingredients may not be, so we cook a gluten-free paella separately.

How soon do we need to book?

The sooner the better. Popular dates book up first, so get in touch early.

Do you provide drinks?

Sangria can be added, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.

Space, weather and the venue

Every venue is different, so we ask about the space when you contact us. Generally, we look for:

  • Venue approval for outside catering
  • Room on tables for sharing dishes
  • Unloading access

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and we will say what we think.

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • Waiting and bar staff
  • Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
  • Timings and hours
  • Starters, canapés and desserts

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. We itemise ours.

Details that help

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what to include:

  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff
  • A picture of where we’d cook
  • Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
