Your questions about paella party catering in Egypt

Can you cater a reception after a service at Ebenezer Methodist Chapel?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is generally elsewhere. Tell us where the reception will be.

How far is Egypt from London?

About 58 miles from central London, and well within our area.

Is it really cooked live?

Yes. We cook from scratch in large pans at your venue, where your guests can watch.

Who clears up?

We clear our cooking area away when service is finished. Clearing guests’ plates and tables can be added with waiting staff.

Do you cater for children?

Most children enjoy paella, especially a mild chicken one. Let us know numbers and ages.

Does it make plenty of smoke?

Paella is cooked over gas, so there is cooking steam and smell but little smoke. Neighbours may well want an invitation.

How long does the paella take?

We get there in good time to set up. The rice itself takes about 20 minutes, timed around your event.

Can you cook indoors?

Mostly outside or under an open cover, since the burners are gas. We’ll check whether your venue has a suitable space.

How our paella party catering works in Egypt

You get to enjoy your own party: no shopping, no cooking, no hours at the stove. We take care of the food. For garden get-togethers and engagement and anniversary parties, we can cook seafood paella, vegetable paella and mixed paella.

In a small place like Egypt, a party in the garden or a nearby field is often the plan. Let us know about access, and we’ll plan the set-up. Every pan is cooked in front of your guests, so it arrives hot and becomes part of the event.

Diets, allergies and planning

Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included. To make it work smoothly:

  • Plan seats for most guests
  • Plan where rubbish goes
  • Plan a covered spot for wet weather
  • Count adults and children separately

At food time, we serve straight from the pan, while you enjoy your guests.

Tapas and nibbles while the paella cooks keep hunger at bay.

Choosing a paella caterer

What paella party catering costs

There is nothing hidden: the price is based on:

  • Parking and unloading
  • How many staff you need
  • The paellas you choose
  • Whether you need crockery

Live paella pricing depends on the event. A garden party lunch and a full wedding menu are very different jobs. We itemise everything in your quote.

Getting an accurate quote

The more we know about your party, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • A picture of where we’d cook
  • The venue or postcode
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff

It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll come back with a clear quote.

What happens on the day

The paella is cooked in giant, shallow pans over gas burners. We need a level, ventilated spot, which we agree with you beforehand. For a late-May party in Egypt, sunset is around 8:55pm; at midsummer it is about 9:25pm. After dark, the cooking area needs good lighting.

  1. We check your date and the space.
  2. You pick paellas, tapas and desserts.
  3. The burners go on and the sofrito starts.
  4. In goes the rice, and guests gather.
  5. It’s served hot, and we clear away afterwards.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want to eat
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Check the venue allows live cooking
