Paella catering in West Ham

About our paella catering in West Ham

Paella has always been food for a crowd: cooked in the open in a big, shallow pan and shared straight from it. That’s exactly what we bring to your event in West Ham. Whether it is company summer parties and garden get-togethers, we will put together a menu of vegan paella, mixed paella and paella Valenciana and more.

In West Ham, events range from terrace gardens to hired halls. Let us know where we can stop to unload, and whether there are steps or narrow passages. We bring everything we need to cook, and pack down our cooking area when service is finished.

Live paella or other catering?

Cold buffets are easy but forgettable, and the food sits out. Paella is cooked in front of your guests and served hot. The price depends on your guest numbers, the menu and how many courses you choose, along with staff, extras and travel. We quote for each event individually.

Why book with us

  • Paella cooked from scratch on site
  • Every diet catered for, pan by pan
  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • Add tapas, canapés and Spanish desserts

See Our prices page Or Our guide to catering costs.

Planning the cooking area

No two venues are the same, so we will ask about yours before we confirm. In general, we need:

  • Access for unloading near the cooking spot
  • Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot
  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site

As a London location, West Ham is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and parking takes planning: tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and we will say what we think before you book.

What we offer

  • Seafood paella
  • Black rice (arroz negro)
  • Vegetable paella
  • Mixed paella
  • Chicken & chorizo paella

What affects the price in West Ham

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Parking and unloading
  • Your choice of paellas
  • How long we’re needed on site
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert

Extras such as tapas, desserts, sangria, staff and crockery are priced separately, so you only pay for what you want.

Details that help

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • The date and rough timings
  • Anything your venue supplies
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • A picture of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, courses and extras. To send your details, send us your details through our quote form.

How the day works

We take care of the food from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your event. If you’ve chosen tapas or canapés, they go out first while the paella cooks. Evenings in West Ham stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm; after dark, the cooking and serving areas need good lighting.

  1. First, you send us your date, venue, numbers and diets.
  2. We suggest a menu and confirm a quote, including what’s included.
  3. On the day we arrive in good time, set up and start the stock.
  4. The paella cooks in front of your guests, with tapas first if you’ve chosen them.
  5. We serve it hot from the pan and clear our area when service ends.

Getting ready for the day

  • Keep the cooking spot clear of fences, hedges and branches
  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Make sure we can park close by to unload

Catering for every guest

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:

  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Plan a meat, a seafood and a vegetable or vegan pan
  • Request clear labels at the serving table
  • Collect dietary needs with your RSVPs

Paella is best eaten as soon as it’s ready, so we plan service for when guests are ready to eat.

Add canapé tapas with the drinks or table tapas as a starter while the paella cooks.
