Paella catering near Littlemore
About our paella catering in Littlemore
There’s something generous about paella: giant pans, saffron colour and a toasted crust that everyone fights over. It makes the food an event in itself. We are frequently asked to cater retirement and leaving parties and anniversaries and engagement parties, with black rice, paella Valenciana and vegetable paella.
There may be a hall or club near Littlemore if your garden is small; any can work for paella, with permission and somewhere outside to cook. Everything is cooked from scratch at your event, not reheated.

Your questions about paella catering in Littlemore
What’s the nearest station to Littlemore for guests?
The closest is Radley station, roughly 2.4 miles away.
We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mary and St Nicholas: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Live cooking usually happens at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.
Do you provide drinks?
Sangria can be added, and provide bar staff to serve drinks you supply.
Who clears up?
We clear our cooking area away when service is finished. Clearing guests’ plates and tables can be added with waiting staff.
Do you come to Littlemore?
Yes. We cater across London and the South East, including Littlemore and the rest of Oxfordshire. To check your date, use our quote form.
How many different paellas?
Two or three covers most guests. We’ll recommend a mix based on diets.
What if the weather’s bad?
We cook under cover, such as a gazebo, marquee or open-sided barn with good ventilation. We’ll agree a wet-weather plan with you.
Do you provide plates and cutlery?
Yes, on request. Crockery, cutlery and napkins, or good-quality disposables are available.
Catering for every guest
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:
- Give us separate numbers for children
- Ask for labels on each pan
- Put allergy details in writing
- Choose two or three paellas so every guest has a choice
A short rest after cooking helps, and that is when we invite guests up.
We can add sangria and bar staff to serve drinks you provide.
Should I cook it myself?
Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.

How it works
Once the rice is in, we do not stir it. That is how the grains cook evenly and the toasted base, the socarrat, forms. The smell usually draws people over. In Littlemore, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting where we cook.
