Paella catering in Kilburn

FAQs for Kilburn

What about parking in Kilburn?

It can be, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. We will work around it.

What’s the nearest station to Kilburn for guests?

Kilburn has its own station: Queens Park (London) station.

How many different paellas?

Two or three covers most guests. We’ll recommend a mix based on diets.

Is it really cooked live?

Yes, always. Every paella is cooked from scratch on site, in front of your guests.

How much space do you need?

Not a lot: a level spot clear of fences, hedges and branches, with room for a serving table. If in doubt, send a photo.

Which paella is most popular?

It depends on your guests. Chicken and mixed paellas tend to go first, alongside seafood and vegetable or vegan pans.

Do you do vegan paella?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. They have their own pans, stock and spoons.

Can we choose the seafood?

We will talk through seafood options when we plan your menu, including premium options if you want them.

Paella catering in Kilburn, cooked live

Watching it cook is part of the experience. People drift over as the sofrito sizzles and the rice turns gold, and the smell does the rest. Typical bookings include weddings and evening receptions and retirement and leaving parties, with vegan paella, mixed paella and paella Valenciana.

Gardens in London can be narrow, which is fine for live paella as long as there’s a level spot clear of fences and trees. In Kilburn, the bigger question is parking near the house or venue. We bring everything we need to cook, and pack down our cooking area when service is finished.

About the dishes

Vegetable and vegan paella

Seasonal vegetables on a rich sofrito base make a paella that stands on its own. For vegans, the stock is plant-based.

Black rice

Black rice looks dramatic and tastes of the sea, and is popular with adventurous guests.

Why live cooking beats a buffet

For something a little different, live paella brings colour, aroma and a touch of Spain. Live paella often compares well with a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. We will send you a quote.
