Live festival paella catering in Wye
Festival paella catering in Wye, made fresh on the day
Organisers can book us as a stall or as caterers for staff, crew, volunteers or VIP areas. For race days and sports events and open days and community events, we can cook giant-pan paella, vegan paella and chicken and chorizo paella and more.
Rural events near Wye can be a long way from food outlets, so a paella stall is a welcome sight. Everything is cooked from scratch at your event, not reheated, and served as soon as it’s ready.
What affects the price in Wye
The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:
- Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
- How many guests are eating
- Crockery and cutlery, or disposables
- How long we’re needed on site
The cost per head generally falls as numbers rise, because the cooking set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we will quote.
What to tell us
To check availability and price, we need:
- Where the event is
- What the venue already provides
- Roughly how many adults and children
- Whether you want canapés, tapas or desserts
Still deciding on the menu? No problem: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will make suggestions. Start when you are ready: send us your details through our quote form.
Paella compared with other options
Some traders struggle with vegan and gluten-free options. A paella stall can have a vegan pan alongside the rest. Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Running a fête for a church like Church of Saint Gregory and Saint Martin? A paella pan draws people in. For visitors coming by rail, Wye station is in Wye itself. Events in and around the Kent Downs National Landscape, within about a mile of Wye, frequently have rules about vehicles, ground and waste; we’ll follow the site’s requirements.
We cook at events all over TN25 and the streets around it. That could mean an event in a garden on High Street, Church Street and The Green. Working with your venue
If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.
For larger events, we plan the number of pans and serving points around your timings, so guests are fed quickly. Let us know how long the food break is.
Wye questions
Is Wye too small for live paella?
No, we cook in small places too. Tell us about lanes, gates and parking.
Can you cook at venues in the Kent Downs National Landscape?
Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We’ll work to whatever the site needs.
How long do you need on site?
We arrive well before serving to set up and start the stock. The rice itself takes about 20 minutes, and we time it to your schedule.
How much does festival paella catering cost in Wye?
We quote for each event, so you only pay for what you need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.
Can we add tapas or canapés?
Yes, and it’s a popular combination. Tapas first, paella to follow.
Can you do sangria?
Sangria can be added, and we can staff a bar with your drinks.
When should we book?
Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it is soon.
What space do you need to cook?
Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, plus the venue’s agreement to cooking.

Diets, allergies and planning

- Ask about peak-time capacity

Churros and tapas can join the menu.
What we need at the venue
We’ll agree the cooking spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:
- Pitch space for cooking and serving
- A level pitch on firm ground
- Vehicle access before and after the event
Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly before booking.
What we offer
- Tapas

- Giant paella pans
Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?
A DIY paella party works for small groups. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles separate pans for each diet.
Some hosts like to cook themselves. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.
The menu, dish by dish
