About our festival paella catering in New Street

Few street foods pull a crowd like a giant paella pan. People follow the smell, and portions are served quickly from the pan. Popular choices include churros, giant-pan paella and vegan paella, and we’re regularly asked to cater open days and crew, volunteer and VIP catering.

At a fête or field event near New Street, we can bring hot food to a rural site. Ground conditions and access matter, so tell us about them. Every pan is cooked in front of your guests, so the food is hot, fresh and part of the occasion.

Should I cook it myself?

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.

If you do cook yourself, test the pan and burner together beforehand, keep the stock hot, and leave the rice alone once it’s in. And keep children and pets well away from the burner.

If your event is in Trosley Country Park, the organiser will need the landowner’s permission; we will supply our paperwork. What happens on the day

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up the pans and burners, and get on with cooking and serving. Summer events in New Street have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:00pm by late September, so evening trading typically finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. It starts with your event details and pitch information.
  2. You get our menu, pitch requirements and paperwork.
  3. On the day, we arrive and set up our pitch.
  4. Pans cook in full view and we serve throughout the event.
  5. We clear the pitch and leave it clean.

How to prepare

What affects the price in New Street

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Guest numbers

  • The length of service
  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood

Compared with a plated meal, live paella is frequently good value, as there is no kitchen to hire and fewer staff to pay. Ask us for a quote.
