The menu, dish by dish

Vegan paella

Vegan paella cooked separately.

Giant paella pans

A pan the size of a cartwheel, full of saffron rice.

Should I cook it myself?

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the cooking.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. Booking us means you get the show without the stress.

The process

From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you can enjoy your event. Any tapas or canapés are served first as the rice is cooking. Summer events in Iford have daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer and about 7:05pm by late September, so evening trading normally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Send the event name, expected visitors and pitch size.
  2. We reply with our menu, prices for visitors and requirements.
  3. We send the documents the event asks for.
  4. On the day, the pans are on before the busiest hours.
  5. At close, we pack down and tidy up.

Prices and what affects them

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • How many staff you need
  • Your choice of paellas
  • The length of service

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the courses, along with staff, extras and travel. We quote for each event individually.

Details that help

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what’s useful:

  • What the venue already provides
  • A picture of where we’d cook
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • The date and time of the event
