Live festival paella catering in Halling

How our festival paella catering works in Halling

We can trade as a stall or cook for crew, volunteers and VIP areas. Whether it’s village fêtes and summer fairs and country shows, we will put together a menu of chicken and chorizo paella, churros and giant-pan paella.

Near Halling, events may be far from shops and cafés, so a hot-food stall is a big help. All the cooking equipment comes with us, and we clear our cooking area away afterwards.

Your questions about festival paella catering in Halling

Can you cook in Holborough Marshes?

Only with permission from the park’s owner, usually the council. Ask them first, and we’ll send any information they need.

Can you run a stall at a school fair in Halling?

Yes, if the school is happy for us to cook on site. Send us the date, pitch and expected numbers.

Do you have the documents we need?

Send your requirements and we will include them with our application.

What about pudding?

Yes. Spanish desserts such as churros or crema catalana.

Where do you cater?

We cater across London and the South East, Medway included. Find your area.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. Each is cooked separately, with its own stock and utensils.

Can you do gluten-free paella?

A gluten-free pan is no problem. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we take the right care.

What does festival paella catering cost?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the courses, staff and travel. Tell us about your event and we’ll send a quote.

Why choose festival paella catering in Halling?

It covers several diets with one trader, which saves pitches.

Live paella works for big and small events alike. Typical bookings include:

  • Country shows
  • Village fêtes and summer fairs
  • Seasonal markets
  • Community events and open days

For a church fête or fundraiser, at a church such as Church of St John the Baptist, a paella stall adds a hot meal to the cakes and tombola.

12 questions to ask before you book

Live paella or other catering?

Hot-cabinet food lacks theatre. Paella cooking in full view sells itself. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.

Why us?

  • Real theatre, not just catering
  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks
  • A quote that spells everything out
  • Separate pans for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.

Some hosts like to cook themselves. Common mistakes are mismatched pans and burners, overfilling and stirring. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the cooking.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Few dishes handle mixed diets as well as paella, because every paella has its own pan. A few tips:

  • Check how many portions traders can serve
  • Ask for allergen information at each stall
  • Book crew catering in advance
  • Plan seating near the food area

What festival paella catering costs

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Waiting and bar staff
  • Your choice of paellas
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Guest numbers

Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so the menu you choose affects the price. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What to tell us

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Expected numbers
  • The courses you’d like
  • The date and rough timings
  • Anything your venue supplies

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, fill in our quote form.

What we need at the venue

Most gardens and venues can host live paella, but a few things matter:

  • Pitch space for cooking and serving
  • Trader information and site rules
  • Your arrangements for power, water and waste

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and we will say what we think before you book.

What happens on the day

On the day, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so we time everything to your schedule. Summer events in Halling have daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer and about 7:00pm by late September, so evening trading generally finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Send the event name, expected visitors and pitch size.
  2. We reply with our menu, prices for visitors and requirements.
  3. Paperwork goes over in good time.
  4. On the day, the pans are on before the busiest hours.
  5. When trading ends, the pitch is cleared and left clean.

How to prepare

  • Have a level space ready for the pans
  • Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
  • Arrange parking near the cooking spot
