What corporate paella catering costs

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • The length of service
  • Extra courses such as canapés, tapas and dessert
  • Whether you need crockery
  • Waiting and bar staff

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed before you book.

What to tell us

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • A picture of the cooking space, if it is a garden or field
  • Which courses you have in mind
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • What the venue already provides

We need only a few details to quote: date, location, guest numbers and diets. You can send us your details through our quote form.

About our corporate paella catering in Orpington

We plan the number of pans and serving points around your timings, so even a big team eats quickly. For charity and fundraising events and team-building events, we will put together a menu of vegan and vegetarian paella, canapé tapas and paella lunches and more.

In Orpington, work lunches are often short, so we plan pans and serving points to feed people fast. Let us know about access and loading. Each paella is cooked from scratch on the day, never made in advance and reheated, and served as soon as it is ready.

About the dishes

Paella lunches

Two or three paellas served from the pan, ideal for a lunch break.

Canapé tapas

Bite-sized tapas carried round by staff.

The process

We cook over gas burners in wide, shallow pans. We need a level, ventilated spot, which we agree with you beforehand. After-work summer parties in Orpington have daylight until about 9:20pm in late June and 7:05pm in late September; for winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, we need lighting.

  1. Send us the date, venue, numbers and timings.
  2. You get a menu, a price and documents.
  3. We agree access and set-up with facilities.
  4. We cook in front of your team and serve on time.
  5. We pack down and leave the space tidy.

How to prepare

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Leave space around the cooking area
  • Plan cover in case of rain

Common questions in Orpington

Could we have live paella in Jubilee Country Park?

Only if the landowner, usually the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will send any information they need.

Is parking a problem for events in Orpington?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. We will work around it.

Can you cook in the rain?

Rain does not stop us, as long as there is a ventilated cover. We’ll talk it through before the day.

How long does the paella take?

That depends on your menu and numbers. We agree the timings in advance so the paella is ready when you want it.

What space do you need to cook?

A level space for the pans, burners and a serving table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, and the venue’s permission for live cooking.

Do you offer halal options?

Yes. We use halal chicken and leave out pork and alcohol, in a separate pan.

Can staff get involved?

Teams frequently enjoy watching and asking questions. Tell us what you’d like.

Can you bring crockery?

Yes, on request. Crockery, cutlery and napkins, or good-quality disposables can be added to your booking.

Is live paella right for your work event?

Buffets can leave food sitting out. Paella is served hot as soon as it is ready. The price depends on your guest numbers, the menu and how many courses you choose, plus any staff, crockery and travel. We quote for each event individually.

DIY paella versus live catering

Cooking paella for a crowd yourself is possible, but it’s harder than it looks. Large pans need the right burners, and getting the rice right for dozens of people takes experience. Read how to cook paella for a crowd.

Plenty of people try cooking paella for their own party. The usual problems are a pan too big for the burner, too much rice and stirring once the rice is in. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us cook.
