How our wedding paella catering works in Palestine
Evening paella is a favourite: it’s hot, filling and quick to serve, so the party keeps going. For barn and farm weddings and receptions after an intimate ceremony, we’ll put together a menu of table tapas, canapé tapas and a paella wedding breakfast for your guests.
Near Palestine, weddings are frequently in fields, barns or gardens. Live paella is made for that: no kitchen, just a level, sheltered spot. Let us know about access and ground. We bring everything we need to cook, and pack down our cooking area when service is finished.
Catering for every guest
Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:
- Ask about your date as soon as you have one
- Tell us when speeches will be
- Include any suppliers you’re feeding
- Introduce us to your venue coordinator
On the day, we liaise with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you do not have to.
Sangria and bar staff can be added.
What we need at the venue
We cook in large pans over gas burners, so we need a suitable spot. Here’s what we look for:
- Open air or a well-ventilated covered spot
- Flat, firm ground for the cooking area
- Parking close enough to carry equipment
Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly before booking.

Canapé tapas
Small bites carried round on boards while guests mingle, perfect during the photos.
Table tapas
Tapas set out on every table to share, from bravas to croquetas and Manchego.
Working with your venue
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: cooking areas, access times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
Hosting a party at home? Send us a picture of the garden and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether live paella will work.
How it works
From set-up to serving, we look after the food, so you’re free to enjoy your wedding. If you’ve chosen tapas or canapés, they go out first while the paella cooks. For a summer wedding in Palestine, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so an evening paella for evening guests is typically served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 4:00pm.
- Share your date, venue, numbers and plans for the day.
- We plan a menu with you, course by course, and confirm a quote.
- We fit our timings around your speeches, photos and venue.
- We cook live on the day and serve every course on cue.
- Afterwards we clear our area; any staff you’ve booked stay as planned.
How to prepare
- Confirm the venue is happy with live cooking
- Plan cover in case of rain
- Tell us where to park and unload

FAQs for Palestine
What’s the nearest station to Palestine for guests?
Grateley station, in Palestine itself.
Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Leonard?
Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is usually elsewhere. Tell us where the reception will be.
How long does the paella take?
It depends on the menu and numbers. We will agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you.
Do you cook it at the event?
Yes. We cook from scratch in large pans at your venue, where your guests can watch.
How far ahead should we book?
Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it’s soon.
Can you cater the whole day?
Yes. Canapé tapas, table tapas, a paella wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts, or any part of that.
How much space do you need?
Level ground for the burners, pans and a table, outdoors or in a marquee or well-ventilated area, plus the venue’s agreement to cooking.
Can we try the food first?
Ask us about tastings when you contact us.

Cook it yourself or book a caterer?
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party cooking. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.
You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but you’ll still need to source ingredients, prep and cook for hours. We take care of all of it.
Live paella or other catering?
Food vans can create long queues. Paella pans serve many guests quickly. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: staff, crockery, bread and salads, travel and VAT. We itemise ours.
