Wedding paella catering in Lee Common, made fresh on the day

Your wedding menu is planned with you, course by course, to suit your guests, venue and budget. For marquee and garden weddings and weddings with mixed diets, we can cook table tapas, evening paella and Spanish desserts.

A wedding in a small place like Lee Common frequently means a field, a barn or a family garden. Live paella is made for that: no kitchen needed, just a level, sheltered spot. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal included, each in a separate pan.

The process

When we arrive, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so the timing is planned around your event. Golden-hour photos in Lee Common at midsummer come around 9:25pm, so we can time the evening paella around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. You tell us your date, venue, guest numbers and how you picture the day.
  2. We plan a menu with you, course by course, and confirm a quote.
  3. Timings are agreed with you and the venue, around speeches and photos.
  4. On the day, we set up, cook in front of your guests and serve each course.
  5. We pack down our cooking area, with staff staying as long as agreed.

How to prepare

  • Choose a level spot for the cooking area
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Plan cover in case of rain

What affects the price in Lee Common

There’s nothing hidden: the price is based on:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • The length of service
  • Guest numbers
  • How many courses

Got a budget? Let us know, and we will put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What we need to know

  • Which courses you have in mind
  • Anything your venue supplies
  • A photo of the cooking space, if it is a garden or field
  • Roughly how many adults and children

Is live paella right for your wedding?

Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Separate paella pans cover every diet. Travel, parking and access can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. Everything is confirmed in writing.

Why us?

  • A clear, itemised quote
  • Sangria, plus bar staff for your own drinks

Dietary needs and planning tips

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Include any suppliers you are feeding
  • Pick a serving style
  • Count day and evening guests separately
  • Ask whether your venue allows outside caterers

Evening guests can be served from fresh pans later on, timed for after the first dance.

Add sangria, or bar staff to serve your own drinks.

Working with your venue

Events in public spaces, like parks, typically need permission. We’ll provide any information the landowner or council asks for.

Organising a club, school or community event in Lee Common? Paella is quick to serve to a crowd and suits most diets. Tell us about the event and we’ll suggest a menu.

Before you choose a spot

We cook in large pans over gas burners, so the cooking area needs a little planning. These are the things we check:

  • A cooking spot outside the marquee, not inside it
  • Agreement from the venue or landowner to cook on site
  • Good ventilation: outdoors, or an open-sided cover

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and we will say what we think before booking.

Popular choices

  • Table tapas
  • Evening paella
  • Paella wedding breakfast
  • Sangria & bar staff
  • Dessert
  • Canapé tapas

Your questions about wedding paella catering in Lee Common

Do you cater in the Chilterns National Landscape?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We will work to whatever the site needs.

We are having a ceremony at St Mary's: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, marquee or venue nearby with a suitable spot to cook. Live cooking usually happens at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

Who clears up?

Our cooking area is packed away and left clean. Table clearing is available with waiting staff.

What do you need at the venue?

Not a lot: a level spot clear of fences, hedges and branches, with room for a serving table. Send us a picture if you’re not sure.

How much does wedding paella catering cost in Lee Common?

The price depends on numbers, menu, courses, staff and travel. Send us the details for a quote.

Can you provide dessert?

We do. Spanish desserts such as churros or crema catalana, or you can serve your own cake.

Do you work with our venue?

Of course. We will speak to your venue about access and timings.

Can you bring crockery?

If you need them, yes. Proper crockery or quality disposables can be added to your booking.
