Live wedding paella catering in Churchill

Should I cook it myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up stuck at the stove. With live paella catering, you get the theatre without the work.

A DIY paella party works for small groups. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and keeps vegetarian and allergy-safe pans separate.

Wedding paella catering in Churchill, cooked live

At a wedding, paella is both the meal and a bit of a show. Guests wander over to watch while the photos are taken, and the meal arrives hot and generous. We are frequently asked to cater rustic barn weddings and informal wedding breakfasts, serving canapé tapas, Spanish desserts and evening paella.

A wedding in a small place like Churchill often means a field, a barn or a family garden. That’s exactly where live paella shines: no kitchen needed, just a level, sheltered spot. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Timings are planned around your event, whether that is speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

Your questions about wedding paella catering in Churchill

Is Churchill too small for live paella?

Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Let us know about access and parking.

How far is Churchill from London?

Roughly 70 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it as standard.

What if the weather’s bad?

We cook under cover, such as a gazebo, marquee or open-sided barn with good ventilation. We plan for rain with you in advance.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

A gluten-free pan is no problem. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can plan it carefully.

Can you do our whole wedding menu?

We can. We can do canapés, tapas, the wedding breakfast, evening food and desserts.

Can you do sangria?

Sangria, yes. We can also supply bar staff for your own drinks.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and meat eaters often go back for seconds. Each is cooked separately, with its own stock and utensils.

Can the paella be cooked in a hall?

Normally we cook outdoors or under a ventilated cover, because we use gas burners. We’ll check whether your venue has a suitable space.

Space, weather and the venue

Most gardens and venues can host live paella, but there are a few things to check:

  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo
  • Clearance from fences, hedges, branches and anything flammable
  • Level ground for the pans and burners

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and we will advise before you book.

What wedding paella catering costs

There’s nothing hidden: the price is based on:

  • Guest numbers
  • Timings and hours
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • Parking and unloading

Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so the menu you choose affects the price. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

What to tell us

The more we know about your wedding, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A photo of the cooking space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Whether the venue has crockery or staff
  • Where the event is

We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, use our quote form.

How to compare caterers

Is live paella right for your wedding?

A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen and a large team. Paella needs a level, ventilated spot and permission, and suits a relaxed style. If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll put together a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Why book with us

  • No hidden extras in your quote

How the day works

On the day, we set up our cooking area, light the burners and start the sofrito. Once the rice goes in, it takes about 20 minutes, so we time everything to your schedule. Golden-hour photos in Churchill at midsummer come around 9:30pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 9:00pm, and in late September about 7:10pm.

  1. We start with your date, venue, numbers and ideas.
  2. We plan a menu with you, course by course, and confirm a quote.
  3. We agree timings with you and your venue, including speeches and photos.
  4. We cook live on the day and serve every course on cue.
  5. Afterwards we clear our area; any staff you’ve booked stay as planned.

Before we arrive

  • Check the venue allows live cooking
  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Choose a level spot for the cooking area
