Wedding paella catering in Chestfield

How our wedding paella catering works in Chestfield

A paella wedding makes mixed diets simple: every paella is cooked separately, so vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal guests eat the same kind of meal as everyone else. Popular choices include canapé tapas, evening paella and a paella wedding breakfast, and we are often booked for vow renewals and civil ceremonies and big weddings with every diet.

Near Chestfield, weddings are frequently in fields, barns or gardens. Live paella is made for that: no kitchen, just a level, sheltered spot. Let us know about access and ground. All the cooking equipment comes with us, and we clear our cooking area away afterwards.

Can I cook paella for a crowd myself?

You can cook paella for a crowd yourself, but it takes practice. A big pan needs a burner that heats it evenly, and getting the rice right at scale is tricky. Our guide to cooking paella for a crowd explains how.

You can hire equipment and do it yourself, but there is shopping, prep and hours of cooking. A caterer handles all of that.

Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Check the venue’s rules for outside caterers
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Enquire early for peak dates
  • Let us know about meals for your band or photographer

Fresh pans can be cooked for evening guests, timed for after the first dance.

We can provide crockery and waiting staff if your venue doesn’t.

Live paella or other catering?

Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Separate paella pans cover every diet. Seafood and premium ingredients cost more than chicken or vegetable paellas, so your choice of paellas affects the total. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.

What you get with us
