Wedding paella catering in Charing, made fresh on the day

Evening paella is a favourite: it’s hot, filling and quick to serve, so evening guests are fed and the dancing carries on. We’re often asked to cater evening food for extra guests and barn and farm weddings, with a paella wedding breakfast, canapé tapas and Spanish desserts.

For a smaller place like Charing, a garden or farm wedding is frequently the dream. We need level ground and access. Tapas, canapés, desserts, sangria and staff can all be added, so one booking can cover the whole menu.

Prices and what affects them

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Chicken, vegetable or premium seafood
  • Parking and unloading
  • Plates, cutlery and glassware
  • The number of people

Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: staff, crockery, sides, travel and VAT. Our quotes spell it all out.

What we need to know

These details help us quote quickly:

  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Expected numbers
  • Your date and when you want to eat
  • A picture of where we’d cook

We quote for each event separately, so you only pay for what you need. To ask for one, fill in our quote form.

Catering for every guest

We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Include any suppliers you are feeding
  • Decide whether guests queue at the pans or are served at the tables
  • Count day and evening guests separately
  • Send us the running order and speech times

We generally set up where guests can watch, which makes a lovely backdrop for photos.

Canapé tapas with the drinks reception keep guests going during photos.

Common questions in Charing

Could we have live paella in Spuckles and Kennelling Woods?

Only if the landowner, usually the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll send any information they need.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Peter and St Paul: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall where we can cook. Churches rarely have space for live cooking, so the meal is normally elsewhere. Send us the reception address.

How long does the paella take?

It depends on the menu and numbers. We will agree arrival, cooking and serving times with you.

Do you cover Charing?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, and Charing is within our area. To check your date, use our quote form.

Do you have a kids’ option?

Children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will plan a pan with them in mind.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and they’re popular with everyone. Each is cooked separately, with its own stock and utensils.

What does wedding paella catering cost?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually want. Tell us your date and numbers and we will reply with a price.

Do you cook it at the event?

Yes. We arrive with everything we need and cook it there and then, then serve straight from the pan.

  • Parking close enough to carry equipment
  • Level ground for the pans and burners
  • Outdoor space or a ventilated gazebo

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and we’ll say what we think before booking.

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where cooking is allowed, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

How it works

When we arrive, we set up the burners and pans and start cooking the sofrito and stock. The rice goes in about 20 minutes before serving, so the timing is planned around your event. At midsummer, sunset in Charing is about 9:15pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. Sunset is around 8:45pm in late May and 7:00pm in late September.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan your menu course by course.
  3. We agree timings with you and your venue.
  4. On the day, we cook and serve each course.
  5. We clear our area; staff stay as booked.
